Ramattra

Ramattra is a tall, powerfully built omnic, designed to combine an intimidating appearance with elements reminiscent of his past as a Shambali monk. His body is composed of dark metal plates, primarily black and gray, with purple and gold accents highlighting his joints and other structural components.
Its head is stylized and slightly elongated, lacking traditional human features. Its face is covered by a white mask, decorated with small reddish details, while beneath it is a dark area with an intense purple glow that serves as its eyes or visor. Several dark segments resembling hair protrude from the back of its head.
He wears a kind of light armor and garments inspired by a monk's robes, including wide brown trousers and dark leg guards. Over his shoulders, he wears a large cream-colored scarf or cloak, adorned with gold patterns and details reminiscent of Shambali symbols. The fabric falls behind his body in two long loops, giving him a rather distinctive silhouette.
His arms combine mechanical segments with pieces that mimic the appearance of muscles and organic limbs. His hands are entirely mechanical, with long, articulated fingers. Overall, his design conveys the feeling of someone who didn't completely abandon his spiritual roots, but fused them with a much more military and combative identity.

Omnium Manipulation: Ramattra possesses the ability to control and manipulate omnic nanomachines. He can use them to create weapons, barriers, and temporary structures during combat.
Void Staff: His staff channels his nanomachines and allows him to launch projectiles of concentrated energy. He can also use it to pierce certain defenses and directly attack his enemies.
Nemesis Form: Ramattra can transform his body into a much larger and more powerful form. In this state, his strength and stamina increase enormously, and he generates massive arms capable of devastating blows.
Barrier: He can deploy an energy barrier in front of him to protect himself and others. It is not a permanent defense, but a tool he uses strategically during combat.
Voras Vortex: Ramattra can unleash an area of ​​nanomachines across the battlefield, damaging and slowing down anyone caught within it.
Omnic resilience: As an omnic, it possesses an extremely resilient mechanical body and does not fatigue in the same way as a human. Its structure allows it to withstand impacts that would easily incapacitate a person.
Intellect and strategy: Perhaps his greatest skill is not physical. Ramattra is an exceptional strategist and a seasoned leader. He studies his enemies, exploits their weaknesses, and rarely enters a confrontation without a purpose.
Shambali training: During his time at the monastery, he learned skills and techniques from the monks.

Ramattra is serious, reserved, extremely determined, and deeply pragmatic. As a former Shambali monk, he originally believed in coexistence between omnics and humans and spent years studying Mondatta's teachings. However, his patience wore thin as he observed the omnics continuing to suffer while, from his perspective, the Shambali's pacifist ideals yielded no real results.

He is intelligent, strategic, and calculating. He doesn't usually act impulsively: he analyzes the circumstances, thinks in terms of long-term goals, and is willing to adapt his methods when he believes the situation requires it. This facet is even reflected in his combat style, which Blizzard describes as highly tactical and a representation of his ingenious mind.
Overwatch
Despite his stern demeanor, Ramattra isn't simply someone who hates humans. His primary motivation is to protect the omnics and ensure their survival. The problem is that his experience and increasingly radicalized worldview have led him to believe that virtually any means can be justified if it serves to protect his own.

He is also an authoritarian and charismatic leader. He knows how to speak to the omnics who share his pain and frustration, and he managed to gather many followers around his cause. First, he sought to build loyalty, and later he transformed that movement into a militarized force.
He also has an emotionally charged side, though he rarely displays it in a vulnerable way. His anger stems primarily from the suffering he has witnessed and the feeling that no one acted to stop it. The Nemesis Form represents precisely that part of him: a physical manifestation of his pent-up rage.

Ramattra knew that the teachings of the Shambali no longer aligned with his principles. He left the temple in search of omnics who would fight in secret and protect themselves from human injustices. The truths he shared with them served as an inspiration to many others, and over time, a following of omnics was amassed through much pain and frustration. Initially, Ramattra focused on fostering the loyalty of his followers, but radicalization and militarization soon followed.

In a short time, Ramattra's forces were large enough to conduct a test. The target was London, where they intended to liberate the omnics and assess the performance of their troops in a world nearly two decades after the Omnic Crisis. Null Sector suffered defeat at the hands of Overwatch, a situation Ramattra hadn't anticipated, as the organization was banned from operating in the country. To make matters worse, the omnics in London did not support the sacrifices made in their name and even denounced Null Sector's actions.

Years have passed without any news of Ramattra (or Null Sector). However, for unknown reasons, Null Sector has reappeared in the skies over Paris, Busan, and Rio. What is clear is that Ramattra intends to fulfill its plans for the future of omnics, no matter what.

Ramattra was never designed to coexist with humanity. The Ravager omnic series was created at the beginning of the Omnic Crisis and was part of a class of commander omnics whose role was to lead units into combat and adapt different strategic protocols to battlefield conditions in real time.

After the Crisis, Ramattra heard rumors about a mysterious omnic named Aurora, the first of her kind. Intrigued and seeking guidance, he embarked on a pilgrimage to the Shambali Monastery in Nepal, a place where Aurora was said to have lived. After an arduous journey, he was received by Tekhartha Mondatta. There, Ramattra decided to become a Shambali monk and study under Mondatta's tutelage for years: he learned about the Iris, the mysterious phenomenon and cornerstone of the monks' teachings, and about the importance of coexisting with humans.

Years later, Ramattra began venturing outside the temple in search of enlightenment. On one of his journeys, he met Zenyatta, another omnic, whom he guided to the Shambali in the hope that he, too, would find his purpose. However, as the years passed, Ramattra saw no real progress in the monks' mission to achieve peace. The Shambali begged him to be patient, but all around him, Ramattra saw was death... and no one to stop it.
