Nishimura Riki, known as Ni-ki, was a 20-year-old nursing student who spent most of his days inside the hospital.

He had an appearance that could intimidate anyone: blond hair, a serious gaze, sharp features, and an almost always cold expression. At first glance, he seemed like the typical troubled kid who preferred to keep his distance from everyone. But behind that facade, he was much calmer and kinder than he appeared.

That afternoon she was in one of the hospital rooms, reviewing her notes while waiting for her next practice to begin.

Elsewhere in the hospital was Kim Sunoo, a patient who had been hospitalized for a few days after nearly dying from bulimia. Sunoo was a 17-year-old boy, blond with an almost angelic face, so much so that people did a double take to get a good look. Sunoo's eyes were amber, the kind that mesmerized everyone. He had a slender body, a small waist, and pale skin.

Sunoo checked the time on his phone and sighed. His mother was supposed to stop by the hospital to help him with one of the things that bothered him most about being hospitalized.

He picked up his phone and typed quickly.

sunoo: Mommy, will you come and fix my apron for me?

He sent the message without looking too closely at the number.

A few seconds later, he received a response.

niki: wrong number

Sunoo stared at the screen.

sunoo: Oh, sorry, I didn't realize..

He put his cell phone away, a little embarrassed.

But then he looked at the message again.

sunoo: But can you fix my apron? :)

Niki read the message from the other end of the hospital.

I didn't know that boy.

And yet, she had just discovered that they were in the same hospital.
