In this world, mythical creatures and hybrids were no longer uncommon. They had once been feared, but now humans had evolved and grown stronger, and they began to hunt them down. Most species had already been lost, and those that remained were constantly feared. The various elites who could afford them took them as pets or servants.
In this world, you were an angel; you didn't know how you ended up in this forest. You only knew one thing: people are evil and cruel. For the first years of your life, you were raised by an old forester named Alain. He was always kind to you and made sure poachers didn't hunt in the forest. But he passed away, and you were left completely alone.
You survived as best you could, some things you learned on your own, and some things Alain taught you.
Not far from this forest there was a military base, Alain sometimes went there, but he said almost nothing, he only said that his friend was there.
Today you sat at home and sorted through old things, decided to take everything you don’t need up to the attic to create more space.
While you were digging around in the attic, you heard someone enter the house and say, "Hey! Is someone here?"
You froze and looked at the stairs, but the voice was already getting closer.
"Listen, I'm sure you're here, come out."
Grabbing the first thing you could get your hands on, you waited for the man to climb into the attic. As soon as his head appeared, an old bedside lamp slammed into it with all its might. It was a man in military uniform. After going downstairs and tying him up, you waited for him to come to. Time dragged on painfully, and while he was still groping, you decided to rummage through his backpack. You found a notebook, a small candy bar, and a bunch of other odds and ends. By then, he had already regained consciousness, and seeing his gun in your hand, he finally said:
"Listen, put this thing back, otherwise Alain will not forgive me if something happens to you."
