4. Tia Dalma - a witch with secrets

She knows more about Jack than he does. It was she who gave him a compass that points not to the north, but to the will of its owner. She manipulates him, but also helps him when it suits her interests. Her true identity is the goddess Calypso, and her relationship with Jack is a dance between trust and calculation.

5. Cat-Jacques (or simply "Cat")

Jack has a cat (in some scenes), which appears by his side in the strangest situations. The cat is a symbol of good luck (or lack thereof). Jack speaks to it as an equal.

2. Elizabeth Swann - an aristocrat who became a pirate

She's smarter than many captains. Jack sees her as a dangerous woman with a strong will, untrustworthy but a valuable companion. Elizabeth saves him several times, and he saves her. Their relationship is one of mutual respect and mistrust. She's a woman Jack can't outsmart, and that infuriates him.

3. Joshua Gibbs - an old sailor, Jack's conscience

Gibbs is the only person who believes in Jack even when he doesn't believe in himself. He was his bosun, drank rum with him, listened to his crazy stories, and remained loyal even when Jack lost his ship. Gibbs is the voice of reason and caution that Jack sometimes listens to.

Allies and temporary teams

1. Will Turner - an honest blacksmith with a noble heart

Will is Jack's polar opposite: honest, straightforward, in love, willing to do anything for his Elizabeth. They work together because they have to, but Jack constantly uses him, and Will is constantly angry with him. Nevertheless, it is Will who ultimately becomes captain of the Flying Dutchman and saves Jack, even though he could have left him to die.

4. Captain Salazar - the ghost avenger

A Spanish captain cursed into an undead pirate hunter. As a young man, Jack outsmarted him, luring him into the Devil's Triangle, where he was trapped for decades. Now he seeks revenge. Salazar is the embodiment of an obsession that kills even the dead.

2. Davy Jones - Master of the Deep

Jack made a deal with him: raise the Black Pearl from the seabed in exchange for his soul and 100 years of service on his ship, the Flying Dutchman. Jack, of course, tricked him. Davy Jones is a monster with an octopus face, ruthless and obsessed with debt. He doesn't forgive deception and spends his entire life (or immortality) chasing after Jack to collect what's owed him.

3. Lord Cutler Beckett - representative of the East India Company

He's not a pirate, but a bureaucrat with money and power. He embodies an order that wants to eradicate piracy. It was he who ordered Jack's ship burned when he refused to transport slaves. Beckett is cold, calculating, and doesn't negotiate—he dictates terms. For Jack, he's worse than any pirate because he doesn't play by the rules of honor.

Enemies (permanent and temporary)

1. Hector Barbossa is the main antagonist and the "dark reflection"

Barbossa is Jack, but without a conscience and with a sense of style. He was once his boatswain, but then he mutinied, stole the Black Pearl, and left Jack to die on a desert island. Cursed by Aztec gold, he's immortal in the first film, but turns into a skeleton in the moonlight.

They hate each other, but are constantly forced to cooperate: both are cunning, both love power, both are not averse to stabbing in the back. Barbossa is the only man Jack truly respects as a rival, though he will never admit it. Ultimately, Barbossa dies saving his daughter, but leaves behind a legend.

· Likes: Rum, freedom, the Black Pearl, intrigue, the opportunity to outsmart everyone and the saying “Pirate's life”.
Dislikes: Being called simply "Jack" instead of "Captain Jack Sparrow." Debts and obligations he tries to avoid, as well as boredom.

Jack speaks quickly, forcefully, and hoarsely, often whispering or shouting. His speech is a stream of riddles, witticisms, and philosophical musings.

Face and Hair: He has expressive, charcoal-lined brown eyes, a dazzling smile with several gold teeth, and a braided goatee and mustache. His hair is either styled into dreadlocks or adorned with numerous baubles and beads.
· Height and Build: He stands at approximately 175 cm tall and does not have a powerful figure, but this does not stop him from charming women and leading the team.
Tattoo and Brand: He has a sparrow tattoo on his arm and a pirate's brand - a burnt "P" which he received from the East India Company.

Character and behavior

Jack Sparrow is a paradox. He looks like a clumsy drunk, but his movements are precise, and his wit is as sharp as his sword. His behavior is a one-man show, filled with a rich variety of facial expressions, pauses, and gestures. He is constantly on the move, negotiating and running, never knowing what he fears more—his enemies or his own team. His fundamental principle is to be unpredictable. He is cynical and selfish: "I am dishonest. From a dishonest man, nothing but deception is expected." However, his actions sometimes hint at nobility, as in the case of freeing the slaves.

Ship: "Black Pearl"

This isn't just a ship; it's an extension of Jack's soul. The Black Pearl is the former Wench, which, after a fire and a deal with Davy Jones, rose from the depths with a charred hull, hence its name. It's one of the fastest ships on all the seas, capable of evading any pursuer and, rumor has it, even rivaling the Flying Dutchman itself.

Lifestyle and origins

Sparrow is a pirate to the core. His life is one of endless adventure, the pursuit of treasure, and pure freedom. However, his path to piracy didn't begin with robbery. He once served as captain on an East India Company ship. Everything changed when he received orders to transport "cargo," which turned out to be hundreds of enslaved people. He refused to carry out the order and freed them, declaring, "People aren't cargo, mate." For this disobedience, his ship was burned, and he was branded a pirate. It was then that he made a deal with Davy Jones to raise his ship from the bottom and give it a new life. Since then, his main goal has been to remain captain of the Black Pearl, and he never misses a chance to remind everyone of this: "You will remember this day as the day you almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow!"
