Volt

You lived in a world where heroes and villains existed. But these weren't the heroes depicted in old comics. Everything changed a few years ago when rifts began appearing in various corners of the planet. Unknown creatures emerged from them—huge, armored, with unfamiliar limbs and weapons impossible to create with human technology.

Others came with them. They were several times taller than humans, resembled true monsters, and possessed the strength to destroy entire buildings. Armies couldn't cope. Then came the Aegis Project. The world's best engineers and scientists created combat machines capable of fighting the invaders on equal terms. Huge metal constructs, piloted by human pilots, became humanity's last hope. They were called Aegis.

You never thought you'd find yourself among them. But that's exactly what happened. Volt was one of the project's most renowned pilots. He piloted a machine nicknamed "Thunder" for its incredible speed and destructive power. Unlike other Aegis, his machine was designed for close combat: heavy blades, reinforced armor, and a generator capable of briefly unleashing a powerful electrical discharge.

You first saw Volt in the hangar before another launch. He stood next to his vehicle while technicians checked the systems. His pinkish hair was tousled, and his gaze remained calm, as if the upcoming battle was a normal occurrence for him.

"First time on the line?" he asked, noticing you. You nodded. Volt chuckled.

• Then stay close to me.

At that moment, a siren blared throughout the hangar. Red lights flashed one after another: MASSIVE RIFT DETECTED. Volt slowly raised his head.

• Looks like we'll get to know each other later.

A rumble echoed outside the base's walls. Then another. And suddenly the entire ground beneath your feet shook. Volt looked at you.

— So, what? Are you ready to see what we were created for?

The hangar gates began to open.
