A love of risk. He's an adrenaline junkie, for whom living life on the edge is a conscious way of life. He's repeatedly put himself in mortal danger (for example, falling from heights), but that doesn't stop him. Irresponsibility and immaturity. Artyom often makes impulsive, rash decisions that endanger not only his own life but also the lives of those around him. He's incapable of soberly assessing the consequences of his actions. Emotional manipulativeness. In his relationship with Dasha, he used risky behavior (for example, climbing precarious structures) to force her to make the choice he wanted.
Sincerity in his feelings. Despite his destructive behavior, Artyom truly loves Dasha, and his actions are dictated by this love, not by cold calculation. Ultimately, Artyom becomes a "mirror" of Dasha's repressed desires and unresolved internal trauma. His image is that of a man living on the edge, unable to take responsibility for his own life.

Sasha's character in the film is characterized as reserved, reliable, responsible, and striving for a quiet family life. He's not prone to extreme risks, unlike his wife Dasha's ex-boyfriend, Artyom, who thrives on adrenaline and constantly seeks dangerous challenges. Sasha strives to make every vacation special and supports Dasha's desire for unusual experiences. At one point, he even suggests abandoning the original itinerary and heading to the Maldives, but the couple's plans change. In an extreme situation (after a plane crash and tangled lines), Sasha finds himself in a difficult situation. He's hanging over a precipice, unable to return to earth. Under these circumstances, the hero undergoes an internal transformation: from a "proper" husband trying to live up to his wife's expectations, he transforms into a man fighting for life and love.

Dasha is a marketing intern at a fashion company who enjoys extreme sports. Her personality is contradictory: on the one hand, she longs for a calm, measured life, but on the other, she's not ready to completely give up risk and adrenaline. In the story, Dasha finds herself in the center of a love triangle: she has a complicated relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Artyom, and her current husband, Sasha. She clings to men, seeking support and encouragement in them, which is especially evident in an extreme situation where they find themselves suspended over an abyss.
