After Dimitri defected to Knuckles, he was kidnapped by Eggman, who returned his head to the glass sphere and locked him in a glass cube, revealing that he was collaborating with the Dark Legion.
So Dmitry has this cube
history 6
Dimitri's long life had a profound effect on his personality. Initially, he was an energetic, self-confident scientist, whose intellect sometimes gave him too much pride and a sense of entitlement. He also had a strong streak of stubbornness. As Enerjak, he was completely insane, making him dangerously unpredictable. Arrogant and cruel, he believed his actions were entirely justified and had little regard for others, sometimes displaying sadistic tendencies. His pride made him easily angered and could even seek revenge if he felt seriously insulted.
However, after losing all of Enerjak's power, he began to think more rationally; however, he still felt completely justified in many of his less-than-pleasant actions and occasionally displayed ruthlessness, not hesitating to use others as pawns if necessary. Overall, however, he retained a sense of respect for others, even his opponents, and a gentlemanly demeanor. Over time, he became committed to unity, from bringing peace to his own family to reuniting the echidna people, a task made difficult by the rivalry between the two sides. Over time, Dimitri abandoned his plans for world domination and even showed some remorse. As his health deteriorated, he still expressed a desire to regain his former strength, though when given the chance, he turned it down. He became increasingly concerned for the safety of his people and went to great lengths to protect them.
Ultimately, the final betrayal that left him helpless and on the brink of death made him realize that many of his actions were terrible and the result of his stubbornness and selfishness. He realized that while he had always felt the importance of family, he had rejected any outside help, and because of this, he was left with nothing. With the understanding of his past mistakes came the fear of facing those he had caused so much pain and trouble. Ultimately, he made peace with Knuckles and agreed to become the Guardian's ally.
history 5
Later, he summoned Lien-Da to his lab and explained that while they would indeed be able to solve the explosives problem, they would become vulnerable to the Iron Queen's techno-magic and become her mindless slaves. He also explained that he had managed to modify one chip, but it would take him time to master all the chips and protect the Legionnaires from the Iron Queen's influence. When Lien-Da realized she could use this to her advantage, she overloaded Dimitri's system and disabled his orb and tentacles, rendering him immobile. After informing Dimitri of her plans to use the updated microchip to control the Dark Egg Legion, Lien-Da placed him in a box. Dimitri begged her not to, trying to tell her something about the Iron Queen. She left him in the box anyway, informing him that the battery would die in a few months and that he was unlikely to be found.
history 4
While browsing the Egg Network for anything that might help the Dark Egg Legion, Dimitri discovers Snively's secret correspondence with Regina F. Later, Dimitri allowed Lien-De to command the Dark Egg Legion as they defended the Egg Dome during an attack by the Freedom Fighters and Team Chaotix. Realizing his men don't stand a chance, Dimitri asks Eggman if he has any Badniks, and Eggman replies that he doesn't. Later, Dimitri watches the battle between the Freedom Fighters, the Chaotix, and the Egg Phoenix with Snively. When Dimitri tells Snively that the Egg Phoenix is attacking too close to the Legion, Snively calls it "collateral damage" and makes it clear he doesn't care. Dimitri then told him he knew about his treacherous plans and his relationship with Regina, and threatened to tell Eggman everything unless he prioritized the well-being of the Dark Egg Legion. Snively suggested they work together, saying, "You're very resourceful, Dimitri. Why spread rumors about me when we can both benefit from her arrival?" Dimitri accepted Snively's offer, and the two began plotting behind Eggman's back.
During the joint attack of the Knothole Freedom Fighters and the Chaotix, Dimitri tells Lien-Da to stick to the plan. When Lien-Da stated that Eggman's plan made no sense, Dimitri stated, "No, not the Doctor's plan. He's insane. I mean the real plan." He then went to meet Knuckles and Julie-Su during their attack on the Egg Dome. When he confronted them, Dimitri reminded Knuckles that he was his last surviving relative and that Knuckles once gave his life to save him, and asked if he would remove him by force if the scientist did not agree to leave voluntarily. When Knuckles replied "yes," Dimitri noted that he was acting on Edmund's persuasion and left. Dimitri then, along with Lien-Da and Snively, watched Sonic through the monitors. After Eggman finally went mad after his latest defeat to Sonic, Dimitri was personally present.
story 3
It was later revealed that Dimitri had turned to none other than Doctor Eggman for help. Eggman, however, had already captured Enerjak and sent him to his Egg Grapes. Dimitri tried to convince the doctor that the time had come to strip Enerjak of his powers, but Eggman believed he had everything under control. This was proven wrong when Enerjak broke free and began wreaking havoc on New Megalopolis and the Egg Fleet. Dimitri then suggested that Eggman and Snively go to the bunker, which they did.
After the defeat of the new Enerjak, Lien-Da, desperate to regain her power and restore the Dark Legion to its former state, went to Eggman to forge an alliance. She was surprised and shocked that Dimitri had approached Eggman earlier and that he had been appointed Grandmaster of the renamed "Dark Egg Legion," specifically the New Megalopolis division. Furthermore, Dimitri had been equipped with bionic tentacles, eliminating the need for him to float.
Some time later, Sonic, Knuckles, and the Chaotix launched an attack on the partially destroyed New Megalopolis in an attempt to destroy Doctor Eggman's control tower. Lien-Da and the Dark Egg Legion forces attempted to stop the group but were unable to do so. Dimitri arrived on the battlefield in one of the ships, using a mantis-like construct for transportation. He took command of the Dark Egg Legion's operation and ordered them to boldly attack to kill, while Knuckles and the Chaotix observed the events, while Sonic left due to the Suppression Squad's attack on Freedom Headquarters. The Chaotix concluded that they would have to break through the Dark Egg Legion's ranks. After an unpleasant conversation between Dimitri, Knuckles, Lien-Da, and Julie-Su, Dimitri ordered the troops to open fire, forcing the Chaotix to take cover. However, they soon went on the attack and proved more than a worthy opponent for the Dark Egg Legion. As the legionnaires scattered in different directions, Ray, Ch
History 2
New alliances and hidden motives
Lien-Da's words proved to be a lie, as Doctor Finitevus secretly dismantled Dimitri's body and placed his head in a glass orb to prolong his life. Furthermore, Finitevus kept him close while he studied the connection between Chaos energy and Dimitri's relatives, such as the surviving members of the Brotherhood of Guardians and Moritori Rex. Lien-Da effectively handed Dimitri over to Finitevus for this purpose, a move Dimitri only agreed to on the promise that he would be restored to Enerjak's power.
Dimitri reappeared some time later, having reluctantly tricked Lok the Echidna into leaving the Master Emerald and Angel Island in the care of Finitevus and the Destructix, despite his dislike of Finitevus. He continued to believe Finitevus's promise that the mad scientist would restore his Enerjak powers, hoping to use them to dispose of Dingo and unite the Legions of Ice and Fire into a single force. However, Dimitri changed his mind, escaped Finitevus and his henchman, Scourge the Hedgehog, and disappeared. However, any noble intentions were negated by Finitevus's intentions to recreate Enerjak, with or without Dimitri, especially since the scientist actually hoped that Dimitri would change his mind and become Enerjak again.
The change in the former Grandmaster became apparent when he arrived in New Mobotropolis in search of Knuckles, bearing the news that Enerjak had returned. Unfortunately, the news arrived after Knuckles had already departed for Angel Island, unaware of the dangers that lay ahead. Realizing he had arrived too late, Dimitri told King Acorn and the newly formed Acorn Council who he was and why Enerjak posed a serious threat. Later, Dimitri observed the new Enerjak's rampage on Angel Island, which included stripping the Dark Legion of their cybernetics. Growing increasingly angry and impatient, he began arguing with Nicole about using New Mobotropolis' nanites to create a weapon against Enerjak. But then he considered turning to the Freedom Fighters.
Story 1
Worsening health conditions and changing policies
Shortly after the incident, Dimitri underwent a dramatic change of heart, no doubt due to being stripped of his Chaos powers and slowly recovering from the Chaos-induced madness that had transformed him into Enerjak, as well as the realization that his life was nearing its end. He attempted to end the long-running war between the Dark Legion and the other Echidnas by proposing to the Echidnopolis Council to ally with the Legion. Lien-Da, believing Dimitri's decision to be a mistake, bribed one of the councilors to assassinate Dimitri. The attempt failed, as Chaos Knuckles took the hit. A second assassination attempt, this time targeting an assassin, was thwarted by Lara-Su, Knuckles' daughter from an alternate future, who knocked out the assassin Sintar before he could fire his weapon. Later, Knuckles informed Dimitri that he had survived the shot, and that there was a traitor in the Dark Legion.
When Dimitri's health deteriorated, he was placed on life support to prolong his life. Lien-Da helped him convince Knuckles to use his powers to give Dimitri a new lease on life. Firmly believing that the Dark Legion should reunite with the other echidnas, Dimitri made Lien-Da promise to continue his work if he died. The plan to use Knuckles' powers to save Dimitri was thwarted by Mammoth Mogul, who attempted to steal Knuckles' Chaos powers for himself. After a battle that resulted in Knuckles' death and Mogul's taking of the Chaos energy, Dimitri was found alive by Lien-Da and Constable Remington. However, without Knuckles' help, he had no way to preserve his life for long.
After Sonic returned from space, following the battle with Xord, Lien-Da stated that "Dimitri is no longer with us," hinting that he had died.
personality
Dimitri is a scientific genius rivaled by few, a polymath with skills in many fields. Patient and charismatic, he knows when to feign obedience and when to assert himself, allowing him to successfully interact with most Mobians as an equal. Despite his penchant for intrigue and guile, as well as his occasional willingness (however reluctant) to violate his moral principles to achieve his goals, his most recent appearance has shown him to be remorseful and compassionate.
As Enerjak, he was cruel, hot-tempered, insane, and egocentric, yet he considered himself the only vicious being possessed of true strength and courage, apparently viewing others as morally weak and therefore worthy of contempt. In terms of powers, he was essentially omnipotent, seemingly capable of defying reality and even manipulating objects at the molecular level.
When his centuries-old body began to fail him, it began to be replaced by cybernetics. Eventually, all that remained was a robotic head, equipped with tentacles capable of interacting with computers and machinery. An example is his interaction with a praying mantis-like mechanism, which was subsequently destroyed.
appearance
Dimitri is an ancient echidna, kept alive only by cybernetics; his appearance has changed numerous times, often dramatically. Originally, Dimitri was a red echidna with green eyes and striped quills braided into his hair. He wore a long shirt, a white lab coat, white gloves, and boots.
When he gained the powers of Chaos, his appearance changed to a completely green color. Later, he adopted the more familiar form of Enerjak, consisting of blue and gold armor, reminiscent of ancient Egyptian attire. After losing his powers, he took the appearance of a very old echidna, with mottled skin, wrinkles, and frayed, thin needles. To prolong his life, much of Dimitri's body was replaced with cybernetics; initially, it was a highly complex gray construct with an ambiguous design. His right hand had three fingers, more like large plates, while his left hand had a normal palm with five fingers. His right foot has two toes and an elongated heel, and his left foot is more like a boot. Dimitri's right eye is a standard implant, while his right eye is a triangle protruding slightly from his face; both eyes are red. In this form, Dmitry has a small part of his organic body visible, namely needles decorated with silver rings, his neck and part of his right leg above the knee.
Later, all that remained of Dimitri's body was his head, floating in a glass sphere. Some time later, he was equipped with tentacles with clamps at the end, allowing him to move and interact with objects, including technology. His glass sphere was later shattered, and Tails, to preserve his life, connected it to one of New Mobotropolis' server terminals.

Concept and creation
Dimitri and his brother Edmund were named by Mike Kanterovich, who named them after the characters Dimitri Marick and Edmund Gray from his favorite soap opera, All My Children. The characters Cain and Abel from the Book of Genesis also influenced Dimitri and Edmund's appearance.[2]
