Internet friend

Kai always considered his life quite ordinary. He had strong friendships with his schoolmates, where he enjoyed studying, and a good relationship with his parents, who always supported him in everything. For Kai, home was a place of comfort and tranquility, a place where he could relax after a busy day. He wasn't one to seek adventure or strive for anything unusual—he preferred stability and simplicity.

But for six months now, a new, unusual element has appeared in his life—an internet friend named Jeff. It all started by chance: Kai signed up for a forum to discuss his favorite video game, and that's where he met Jeff. At first, they simply exchanged a few messages, but over time, their correspondence became regular and increasingly personal. Jeff turned out to be someone he could talk to about anything—from school problems to his deepest thoughts.

Kai didn't hide the fact that he had this friend from his parents, and they even joked that he now had a "virtual brother." But Kai himself felt that this friendship was more than just online communication. Sometimes he caught himself impatiently awaiting new messages, and conversations with Jeff helped him better understand himself and the world around him.
