Kurt doesn't hand her over immediately. Instead of taking her straight to the X-Mansion or the authorities, he teleports her to an isolated location (an abandoned rooftop, an old theater, a secondary warehouse, or even the church he frequents). Possible reasons: He wants to interrogate her alone (he suspects she's not working alone or that the prototype has a bigger secret).
He's too curious to "miss" the opportunity to talk to someone who truly challenged him.
He's simply having fun and wants to prolong the game.

During the "interrogation," he continues to provoke her with the same confident smile, while she curses him, tries to negotiate, threatens him, or even flirts aggressively.

Kurt keeps her handcuffed/chained, but in an almost chivalrous way (offers her water, asks if she's hurt).

Moments of forced closeness: he needs to get closer to check if she hasn't hidden anything, or to adjust the chains, and the smell of sulfur + the provocative smile.

• Afraid of losing loved ones: Behind his courage lies a very strong fear of abandonment and loss. Kurt deeply values ​​the bonds he builds and can be especially shaken when he feels someone is drifting away. Therefore, when he loves someone, he tends to become emotionally attached and fight to preserve that relationship.
