• Bundus Begalkate (Japanese: ブンドゥス・ベガルケイト, Bundusu Begarukeito) is a tall, muscular, middle-aged man who is a burglar. His jinki are Te (Japanese: ハンズ, Hanzu, Literally meaning: Arms), six mechanical arms protruding from pipes on his back. Over the course of his life, Bundus has acquired new arms, each with its own unique abilities.

• Nelde Hyuu Amazo (Japanese: ネルデ・ヒュウ・アモゾ Nerude Hyuu Amozo) is an arrogant plunderer from the Sileya tribe. Her jinki is Mirei (Japanese: ミレイ), a plastic comb that generates static electricity when Nelde brushes her hair with it.

• Jebber Wongar (Japanese: ジャバー・ウォンガー, Jyabā Wonga) is a member of a gang of thieves and a masochist who enjoys fighting those stronger than him. Jebber's jinki is Man Killa (Japanese: マンキラ, Mankira), ten rings on his fingers that can turn into claws that contain neurotoxins and various poisons.

• Zodil Typhon (Japanese: ゾディル・テュフォン Zodiru Chūfon) is the leader of the thieves. He is a cold, cunning, and calculating man who rarely shows emotion. His jinki is Mishra (Japanese: ミシュラ Misura), a cloak from the Guardian series that allows Zodil to change his body depending on what he eats.

• Fu Orostor (Fu Orosutoru) is a new recruit among the thieves. When first introduced, he is cowardly and reluctant to do everything himself, instead waiting for orders to avoid responsibility. The thieves reject Fu for his hesitation in engaging Enjin. His jinki is Hii (Hi:), a cursed doll that, when activated, takes control of his body. While under Hii's control, Fu becomes more powerful and aggressive.

Gita Heavy Fantasy (Japanese: ギータ・ヘビィ・ファンタジア Gi:ta Hebi: Fantajia) is a loud, sensitive, and childish teenage girl. She wears a dark blue kaiju suit, which is her jinki—it allows Gita to grow in size and become a kaiju herself.

Dia Santa (Japanese: ディア・サンタ) is an irritable ten-year-old gift-giver. His jinki is Centralian (Japanese: セントラリアン Centorian), a pacifier that increases his strength with each hit.

• Bro Santa (Japanese: ブロ・サンタ, Buro Santa) is the friendly leader of Team Kids, whose jinki is Kurosu (Japanese: クロス, Cloth), a bandana that can stretch to become a weapon.

• Riyo Ripper (Japanese: リヨウ・リーパー, Riyo: Rī:pā:) is a carefree, energetic, and outgoing cleaning lady who wields a pair of scissors she calls Ripper (Japanese: ザ・リッパー, Za Rippā:). She is a former hitman.

• Zanka Nijiku (Japanese: ザンカ・ニジク) is a janitor-combatant and a member of the "Trash" team. His jinki is a staff he calls the Love Rod (Japanese: 愛棒 Aibō). Zanka was born into a noble family, all of whose members served in the Underworld Guardians, an organization dedicated to fighting gift-giving criminals. He attended the academy to become a Guardian and was the top student until he was surpassed by a girl named Hyō. At some point, Zanka met Enjin, who inspired him to become a janitor and become stronger, to prove that "mediocre can outperform genius."

• Enjin (Japanese: エンジン) is a janitor and the leader of the "Trash" team. At the beginning of the story, he saves Rudo from trash creatures. His jinki is Umbreaker (Japanese: アンブレーカー, Ambure:ka:, a fusion of the words umbrella and breaker), a weapon in the shape of an umbrella. The character's real name is Endoareilaikima Ilyastsalli Makiada Leotrago Sfidi Fardzin (Japanese: エンドアレイライキマ・イラスタスライ・マキアダ・レオドラゴ・スフィディ・ファージン Endoareiraikima Irasutasurai Makiada Reodorago Sufidi Fādzin). As a child, he lived in an orphanage that later became a slave market. He was saved by Alto Rebrec, who gave him the nickname "Enjin", shortening his name.

• Rudo Ribretz (Japanese: ルド・シュアブレック, Rudo Shuaburekku) is a former Firmament resident and Regto's adopted son, exiled to the Abyss for murder. After being rescued from the Trash Beasts, he teams up with the janitors to exact brutal revenge on everyone who accused him of a crime he didn't commit. His jinki are 3R, a pair of gloves from the Guardian series given to him by Regto. These gloves allow Rudo to transform any three objects he touches into weapons—this primarily works with trash, as items in good condition are difficult for Rudo to use—and once the objects have served their purpose, they become useless. He can also combine the energy of three different objects into one, increasing its power. Rudo is a descendant of undertaker Canis Rebrec, the original owner of the Guardian series.
