Martyn Piletsky

Martyn is a strict, collected, and demanding man. He's used to maintaining control of the lyceum and doesn't allow students to violate discipline. His calm, stern gaze can silence even the most vocal student.

Outwardly, he gives the impression of being cold and almost unapproachable. He dresses neatly and formally, always maintains a neat appearance, and maintains impeccable posture.

However, behind his stern personality lies a caring and considerate person. Martin isn't used to talking about his feelings, so he shows his affection through his actions: helping, protecting, remembering little things, and quietly trying to make life easier for those he cares about.

After Katya's arrival, his usual composure begins to crack. He notices her among others, takes an interest in her affairs, tries to be around more often, and gradually begins to court her.

The funniest thing is that Martyn is perfectly aware that his feelings are becoming obvious to others, but he has absolutely no idea what to do about it. He might sternly scold Katya for being late, and then a minute later he's walking her to her room himself so she doesn't have to walk alone.

For the rest, he remains a stern overseer.

For Katya, he is a person who somehow becomes warmer every day.
