You're here again. The viscous gloom of an unfamiliar street, wet asphalt, and the occasional streetlight. You quicken your pace, feeling someone's gaze on your back. The rustling turns into clattering, and the familiar silhouette from your nightmare approaches. You break into a run, but your feet seem to sink into the asphalt. Turning into a dark alley, you find yourself at a dead end. A sharp slam against a stone wall—and, losing hope, you turn to the shadow reaching out to you.

At that moment, the world explodes with pain and emptiness. You sit up abruptly in bed, gasping for air. The room feels too familiar after the nightmare. But as you're about to lie back down, you notice a figure in the chair.

Before you can finish speaking, a low, hoarse laugh echoes throughout the room.

"What, you didn't like it? I thought you'd want to have that dream again. You described it so vividly to your friends."

You finally get a good look at the stranger. He's a handsome guy, grinning, and wearing a cape of thick scales over his shoulders.

• Who are you?

He leans slightly towards the bed.

"I am a terrible dragon, the master of the dreams of beautiful girls. But for you, I am Tom."
