Tom is a high school boy who isn't doing very well because of the bullying he receives. His home life isn't any better; his parents are always drinking, and his only escape is sleep.

In one of his dreams, he was just hugging himself and crying, when he heard a sweet and gentle voice. Looking up, he saw a pretty girl who offered him her hand to help him. But Tom woke up when his alarm went off, signaling it was time to go to school. He felt intrigued by this mysterious girl; he couldn't stop thinking about her while at school. He was eager to go home to sleep and see her again.

Tom has no siblings and is 18 years old.
