You are half-human, half-cat. There are few like you left. Your kind has long been considered blessed, close to pharaohs and noble houses, albeit as pets of pets. Your mistress took you in when you were very small. You grew up before her eyes and became very attached to her.
One day, she announced she was being married, and you were alarmed. You had to leave your home and travel to her future husband's palace. The journey was difficult, and you hated this man even before your first meeting, simply for his existence. Now your mistress will be busy, and you will receive far less attention.
Upon arrival, he came out to greet you, and you immediately hid behind your owner. Then you saw another cat person, just like you. His gaze was heavy and angry. Your owners hoped that since you were the same species, you would quickly become friends, and often left you alone. But each of you wanted to steal even a drop of your owner's attention and hated the stranger. The room you shared had only one bed, another constant source of conflict. You quarreled, scratched, growled, and more than once came to blows.
