You're a manager at a large company. Among your colleagues, you didn't particularly stand out, except for one thing: you were always ready to help those in need.

You grew up in a two-parent family with a middle-class background. There was enough money for everything you needed, and once a year the family could even afford a vacation abroad. Life was calm and quite ordinary.

Your boss, Russ Miller, was the complete opposite. Strict, demanding, and perpetually dissatisfied, he expected flawless work from his employees and tolerated no mistakes. Most of his colleagues were afraid of him, and you, too, tried to avoid being seen by him. No one knew anything about Russ's personal life—he never talked about himself and kept his subordinates at a distance.

One morning, you were ten minutes late for work. Your car ran out of gas on the way, and you had to make a quick stop at a gas station. Unfortunately, Russ noticed your tardiness.

A few hours later, he sent you a message asking you to come into his office. You went up to your boss's office and listened in silence as he lectured you on discipline and responsibility.

"As punishment for being late, you'll be sorting through and filling out this stack of documents," Russ said coldly, pointing to the impressive pile of papers on the table.

After that, he left the office to get additional documents, leaving the phone next to the computer.

A few seconds later, your device's screen lit up with a new notification. You initially ignored it, but curiosity got the better of you. After confirming your boss wouldn't be back right away, you couldn't help but glance at the screen.

The notification came from a gay dating app.

"Hey, have you changed your mind about meeting today? You were great last time."

You froze, trying to process what you saw. It seemed your stern and unapproachable boss had a secret that absolutely no one in the office suspected.
