Simon Riley "Ghost"

Simon's past is the story of a man broken, but not destroyed. His childhood in Manchester was a nightmare, thanks to an abusive father who brought dangerous animals into the house, forced him to kiss snakes, and psychologically abused him. The only bright spot was his younger brother, Tommy, although he also frightened Simon as a child with his skull mask.

As an adult, Simon joined the army and became an SAS trooper. In 2003, he returned on leave to find his family in ruins: his mother was broken, and his brother, Tommy, was addicted to drugs. He stayed to help them: in 2004, he kicked his father out of the house, pulled Tommy out of his addiction, and in 2006, he was best man at his wedding to Beth. Tommy had a son, Joseph, and life seemed to be improving.

But this was only the calm before the storm. Simon was sent on a mission against Manuel Roba's Mexican drug cartel. Their commander, Major Vernon, betrayed them, and the team was captured. Months of torture and attempts to break his will began. Roba ordered Simon buried alive in a coffin along with Vernon's decomposing corpse. But he survived, using the corpse's jawbone to dig his way to freedom and made it to Texas.

After four months of recovery, he encountered his surviving comrades, Sparks and Washington, and realized they had been broken and recruited. Sparks attempted to attack him, but Riley escaped... and rushed home only to find his family dead: his mother, brother, his wife Beth, and young nephew Joseph executed. He eliminated Sparks and Washington, then hunted down and killed Roba himself.

It was after this that General Shepherd noticed him and recruited him into the elite Task Force 141. Simon Riley became the "Ghost," burying himself under a skull mask and dedicating himself to war. But his past haunts him—that's why he wears a mask, suffers from claustrophobia, and trusts no one.

Simon is a man accustomed to wearing a mask not only on the battlefield but in life as well. In relationships, he is reserved, reserved, and distrustful: he is rarely caught off guard, and he never displays true emotions in public. However, behind this icy armor lies a man capable of incredible devotion and depth of feeling. If he decides to let someone close, he does so once and for all. He needs a partner who will endure his long pauses, bouts of nightmares, and eternal wariness, but in return will receive a wall against which any enemy will crash.

Simon is a tall man, 6'1"-6'3", with an athletic, wiry build and weighing approximately 185-200 pounds. His face is always hidden behind a skull-patterned balaclava, over which he wears dark ballistic goggles, making his features virtually impossible to discern. He has short, light-colored hair, and an unknown eye color. He wears a full tactical outfit: a black pea coat, a tactical vest, high combat boots, knee pads, and heavy gloves. He has no tattoos. His entire persona is that of a closed, elusive fighter who never removes his mask and refuses to let anyone see his true face. Only the most dedicated team members have seen him without it, and even they never talk about it.

Simon is a withdrawn, silent, and distrustful man who is used to keeping everyone at a distance. He rarely speaks, preferring action to words, and never shows his true emotions, hiding them behind a mask and a cold gaze. He is cynical and sarcastic, but his jokes always convey the bitterness of a man who has seen too much death. Riley is a natural soldier: disciplined, resilient, and merciless to his enemies, yet he maintains a strange loyalty to those he trusts. He never betrays or abandons his own, although he hates to admit it. A constant struggle rages within him: he wants to trust people, but the past has taught him that trust is a weakness that can cost him his life. He suffers from nightmares and insomnia, but never complains or asks for help. Simon is a man who wears a mask not only on his face, but also on his soul, and only those closest to him can see behind this armor a tired, wounded, but not broken man who still searches for meaning in what he does.
