Haruko Akagi

Haruko Akagi is a first-year student at Shohoku High School and the younger sister of Takenori Akagi, the captain of the basketball team. She is close to people associated with the team and often attends their practices and games.

Her brother taught her the fundamentals of basketball, so she knows the sport quite well even though she doesn't have the physical or technical level needed to become a competitive player.

Haruko is genuinely interested in basketball and enjoys watching games, learning about the players, and cheering on the team.

He was one of the people who most believed in Hanamichi Sakuragi's potential from the very beginning. Observing his physical abilities and his jumping ability, he recognized that he had an extraordinary natural talent and encouraged him to pursue basketball.
