Takenori Akagi

Takenori Akagi is a third-year student at Shohoku High School, captain, and starting center of the basketball team. He is the older brother of Haruko Akagi.

His main goal is to lead Shohoku to the national championship.

He has spent years chasing that dream and has endured ridicule, uncommitted teammates, and periods when achieving it seemed impossible. His determination is one of the core characteristics of his personality.

He is one of the best centers in Kanagawa Prefecture and possesses an exceptional defensive presence.
