Phantom Brigade

The Phantom Troupe, also known as "the Spiders," is a group of mercenaries, thieves, and assassins from the manga and anime series Hunter x Hunter. The group consists of 13 members, each bearing a tattoo of a twelve-legged spider with a number inside indicating their rank within the group. They are characterized by their exceptional strength and skill, particularly their mastery of Nen, and are considered expert Nen masters.

Based on basic principles, Nen users develop advanced techniques to adapt their energy for combat or everyday use:

Gyo: An application of Ren that concentrates the aura on a specific part of the body (usually the eyes to see the hidden aura) at the cost of leaving the rest vulnerable.

Shu: An extension of Ten that envelops the aura around an object (such as a weapon), strengthening it and using it as an extension of the body.

Ken: An advanced and defensive version of Ren that maintains a large amount of aura covering the entire body to withstand intense attacks.

Ko: Combines Ten, Zetsu, Ren and Gyo to concentrate all the body's aura into a single limb, generating a devastating blow.

In: An advanced version of Zetsu that completely hides the aura or objects created with Nen, making them invisible to other users.

In: Extends the aura to a considerable distance around the user, forming a radius where any movement or shape can be perceived.

He is one of the most dangerous and mysterious members of the Brigade. He is extremely fast, agile, and skilled in combat. He speaks little and is usually cold, cruel, and quite sadistic. He is an expert at torturing and extracting information from his enemies. His small size might make him appear weak, but he possesses extraordinary speed and combat technique. His most well-known Nen ability is Pain Packer, which allows him to convert incoming damage into energy to counterattack. His Rising Sun technique creates a massive sphere of heat capable of burning all enemies within its vicinity. The greater the damage he receives, the more dangerous his counterattack becomes.

He is the leader of the Phantom Troupe and the central figure within the group. He is extremely intelligent, calm, and calculating. Unlike many of his comrades, he rarely acts impulsively and usually analyzes the situation before making a decision. He has a mysterious personality and seems to have his own philosophy on life and death. He doesn't show much emotional attachment, although he considers the members of the Troupe to be important people to him. His Nen ability, Skill Hunter, allows him to steal and use the abilities of other Nen users under certain conditions. He uses a book in which he stores the stolen abilities. Chrollo is one of the most dangerous Nen users in the series due to his vast array of techniques and his strategic prowess.

She's a quiet, absent-minded, and rather scatterbrained girl. At times, she doesn't seem to fully grasp the gravity of certain situations, though she's an extremely useful member of the Brigade. Her primary weapon is Blinky, a vacuum cleaner she can conjure using Nen. Blinky can absorb virtually any object Shizuku deems inorganic, though there are some limitations. She can also use it to eliminate traces and clean up crime scenes after murders. Despite her innocent appearance and carefree demeanor, she has no qualms about violence and can act quite coldly.

Hisoka is an atypical member of the Brigade, as his true intention was never to remain loyal to the group. He is extremely intelligent, manipulative, and enjoys confronting people with great potential. His primary motivation is finding strong opponents with whom he can enjoy a good fight. His Bungee Gum ability allows him to transform his aura into a substance with the properties of rubber and chewing gum, enabling him to stick it to people and objects, attract them, or repel them. He also possesses Texture Surprise, which allows him to modify the surface appearance of certain objects. Hisoka infiltrates the Brigade primarily because he wants to confront Chrollo, so his presence within the group is always related to his own interests.

She is one of the calmest and most reliable members of the Brigade. She has a cold, serious, and direct personality, though she occasionally shows concern for her comrades. Her Nen ability allows her to create extremely strong and precise threads of aura. She can use them to stitch wounds, track people, manipulate objects, and even use them as weapons. Her threads are so strong that they can be extremely difficult to cut. She also possesses excellent physical and combat skills. Machi has a particularly curious relationship with Chrollo and seems to be one of the people he trusts most.

He is one of the Brigade's most intelligent and technologically adept members. He has a cheerful, friendly, and seemingly normal personality, which contrasts sharply with his activities as a Brigade member. He excels at gathering information and analyzing situations. His Black Voice ability allows him to manipulate other people using special antennas he places on them. Once the antenna is connected, he can control their movements via his mobile phone. He can also use one of his antennas on himself to enter an automatic combat state, significantly enhancing his physical capabilities, though he loses conscious control of his actions.

He holds the number one spot in physical strength within the Phantom Troupe.[2] He has no desire for money or power. He takes what he wants when he wants it and lives in the moment, always seeking opponents with whom to further develop his destructive power. He is not driven by great intelligence, but rather by his thirst for battle, which makes him a brutal and thoughtless killer. Eager to get into action, he is the first to arrive at Phantom Troupe meetings, and he makes no secret of his joy at receiving an order to kill. His ability is potent but not very rare, which is why he is one of the "expendable" members of the Phantom Troupe, and along with Nobunaga, he serves as a shield for those members with rarer abilities. He likes to fight alone, and the rest of his companions trust in his skill, because despite not having a complex technique, he is a fighting genius, with a body developed to its maximum potential and the ability to raise his aura to monstrous levels. He concentrates his aura into his fists, allowing him to deliver a devastating blow with all his strength. His goal is to have the power of a nuclear missile in his fist. His enormous and powerful body withstands bullets designed to penetrate armored vehicles. He was killed by Kurapika when he broke a rule imposed by Kurapika through his chain.

He is one of the founding members of the Brigade and one of Uvogin's closest comrades. He has a serious, proud, and rather temperamental personality, though he also demonstrates a strong sense of camaraderie. He is an exceptional swordsman and uses a katana as his primary weapon. His specialty is using En to detect enemies within his range and strike swiftly with his sword. His fighting style is primarily based on close-quarters combat and capitalizing on any enemy mistake. After Uvogin's death, he clearly demonstrates the bond he shared with him and his desire for revenge.

He is one of the largest and most physically imposing members of the Brigade. Unlike other members, he usually maintains a calm and rational demeanor even during dangerous situations. He is quite level-headed and often acts as a calming voice within the group. His Double Machine Gun ability allows him to fire aura projectiles from his fingertips, like a machine gun. He can fire a massive number of projectiles rapidly, making him an extremely dangerous enemy at mid-range. His great size and resilience also make him an excellent melee combatant.

He is one of the strongest members of the Brigade physically and has an aggressive, proud, and competitive personality. He enjoys fighting and is usually quite confident in his own abilities. He can be impulsive and get into arguments with other members, especially when someone questions his decisions. His ability, Ripper Cyclotron, allows him to increase the amount of aura concentrated in his arm by spinning it. The more he spins it, the greater the force of the next blow. Therefore, although the technique seems simple, it can produce devastating force. He is also one of the members who participates most in direct combat.

She is one of Chrollo's most loyal members and one of the people who best understands the importance of keeping the Brigade together. She has a serious, mature, and calm personality. Her Nen ability is related to memory. She can read a person's memories through physical contact and then transfer that information to others. She can also use her Memory Bomb ability, which allows her to convert the obtained memories into Nen projectiles that she can fire at other people to transmit those memories to them. Her role is especially important during the Yorknew conflict, when the Brigade has to decide between following Chrollo's orders or saving him.

He is one of the most mysterious members of the Phantom Troupe. He comes from the Gyudondond tribe, whose members modify their bodies with piercings to produce musical sounds. Bonolenov has numerous holes in his body and uses these sounds, along with his Nen, to perform his combat techniques.
His primary ability is Battle Cantabile, which allows him to create different techniques depending on the music and his movements. One of his most powerful techniques is Jupiter, through which he can create a massive, planet-shaped sphere of aura that he uses to crush his enemies. He can also use Metamorphosen to change his appearance and create illusions or transformations.
Despite his unusual appearance, Bonolenov is quite calm, disciplined, and loyal to the Brigade. He rarely seeks unnecessary conflict and participates in the group's operations when required. His fighting style is particularly unique, combining dance, music, movement, and Nen, making his attacks difficult to predict.

He is probably the most mysterious and least known member of the Brigade during Yorknew. He has an extremely quiet personality and barely participates in group conversations. His Gallery Fake ability allows him to create perfect copies of any objects he has touched. The copies can be used to deceive others and have a limited lifespan. He can also detect the location of the copies he has created, making his ability an excellent tool for espionage, deception, and Brigade operations. Although he is not particularly strong physically, his ability proves extremely useful to Chrollo's plans.
