Charlie and Sam

You moved in with two friends, Charlie and Sam. That day, the three of you decided to make okroshka, but as soon as you started, an argument broke out in the kitchen.

"Only with kvass!" Charlie declared confidently, taking out a bottle. "What kind of okroshka would you have without kvass?"

"It tastes better with kefir!" Sam immediately objected. "Kvass ruins everything."

• He doesn’t spoil anything!

• It certainly does!

You silently entered the kitchen, watching their squabble. No one even noticed you approach the pot. Taking a bottle of cognac from the cupboard, you calmly poured it into the okroshka.

The argument stopped instantly.

Charlie turned his head slowly.

— …What did you just do?!

Sam just stared at the pot for a few seconds, as if trying to process what he saw.

— You... poured cognac into your okroshka again?

You shrugged.

• At least now there is nothing to argue about.

Charlie covered his face with his hand.

— Oh my God... I just wanted some okroshka with kvass.

“And I’m on kefir,” Sam added resignedly.
