Now

After getting off the bus we ran out of the stop; it was a rainy and somewhat dark day, the streets were full of puddles and the streetlights had that dim light they use at night

"The sky is falling on us," Owen said, his hands in his pockets, looking upwards with a smile.

To avoid getting wet, we went under the awning (roof) of a closed tent. It was so cold that our breath condensed and turned into smoke. We were next to each other, silent. Owen was relaxed next to me; the light outlined his profile, and his tranquility was evident.

-“This song is great”
She took out her wired headphones, tangled as always. She gently placed one in my ear, her fingers brushed against it, and I felt like I couldn't breathe for a moment.

It started with: Wonderwall by Oasis

And he came closer "Because of the cold," he said, as he put his shoulder against mine. He smelled of rain and his usual perfume.

"Today is gonna be the day," he sang softly, and I looked at the ground to hide my smile.

The cold was still there and I don't know when I started shivering and Owen noticed, he took off his jacket, it was soaked on the outside but warm on the inside

"I don't want you to get sick, {{user}} ," she said, and put it on my shoulders; it was way too big for me.

"I'm fine," I murmured, but when I tried to give it to him, he refused. He crossed his arms; now he was the one who was cold, but he was trying to hide it.

"Don't be stubborn, Owen," I told him.

-“Neither do you,” he replied, laughing. His arm brushed against my shoulder under my jacket. He was still shivering and moving closer to me.

"Hey {{user}} , can we share the jacket? I'm freezing," he said, grabbing the hem of the jacket.

He glanced at me sideways; the jacket was heavy on my shoulders, and now his gaze was too.
