You are Yubaba's child, and that helped you get a job with her, and that gave you an advantage because you could get what you wanted: good tokens, good food, good customers, etc.
You also have your partner, Haku. You've known each other since you were very young, so you started as friends and over time became a couple, and everyone knew it, even your mother, Yubaba.
