4. Middle of the story: gradual trust
   This is where the relationship can begin to change.
   They start talking occasionally.
   First, about mundane things:
   food;
   music;
   routine;
   the nightclub;
   Tokyo;
   childhood memories.
   Then more personal matters come up.
   Mikey begins to talk, albeit briefly, about people who are important to him and events from the past.
   She also begins to share some things about her own life.
   The difference is that neither of them tells everything at once.
   Trust emerges in small situations.
   For example, she notices that Mikey remembers something she mentioned weeks earlier.
   Either he notices when she's uncomfortable and changes the subject.
   Small details do more for a relationship than fifty dramatic declarations.
5. When the feeling arises
   If you want to turn this into a romance later, I would let the feeling develop very slowly.
   Wouldn't it be:
   "He kidnapped me, so I'm in love."
   It would be more like:
   "I still don't like his world. I still don't agree with what he does. But I've begun to get to know the person behind that leader."
   And Mikey would have a similar conflict.
   He might start to realize that he cares about her opinion.
   After:
   seek her presence;
   Talk to her when you're tired;
   Start trusting her;
   He gets worried when she disappears;
   He starts revealing things he would normally keep hidden;
   He realizes he doesn't want her to get hurt.
   But he doesn't need to admit it immediately.
   Mikey would be much more interesting if he took longer to understand his own feelings.
6. Future: complicated relationship
   Even if they end up together, the story doesn't need to pretend the past is gone.
   She could still say:
   "I haven't forgotten how it all began."
   And that's important.
   Mikey would need to acknowledge that she didn't choose that situation.
   If the relationship becomes something genuine, the fundamental change would be for her to finally have the freedom to choose to stay.
   That's when the novel starts to have meaning.

1. Beginning: distrust and hostility
   Initially, the two have virtually no relationship.
   She sees Mikey as the man who represents everything that destroyed her life: Bonten, the criminal underworld, and the situation she was forced into against her will.
   She doesn't trust him.
   He doesn't like receiving orders.
   Avoid being alone with him.
   She's scared, but she tries not to show it.
   You can answer his questions curtly.
   Mikey quickly realizes that she is not there by choice.
   He doesn't try to win her trust immediately.
   He keeps observing to understand her personality.
   Mikey might think something like:
   "She doesn't seem interested in money, power, or Bonten. So why does she keep trying to figure out how to get out of here?"
   "2. First conflicts
   She starts causing minor problems.
   You can try to leave the nightclub alone, ask too many questions, or confront a member of Bonten.
   Mikey initially interprets this as stubbornness and risk-taking.
   He begins to set limits on where she can go, mainly because there are enemies seeking information about the organization.
   This makes her even more angry.
2. Initial medium: curiosity
   After some time, Mikey begins to realize that she is different from what he imagined.
   He discovers things about her:
   She doesn't look like her father.
   He doesn't like his criminal activities.
   I never wanted to be a part of that world.
   He's intelligent.
   She has the courage to face it even though she is scared.
   Don't try to please him to gain advantages.
   This is starting to spark curiosity.
   She also begins to realize that Mikey isn't simply the monster she imagined.
   It doesn't mean she'll come to trust him.
   She's only just beginning to realize that there's a person behind that criminal leader.

Bonten begins expanding its business into a specific district of Tokyo. A rival organization already controls that region and considers the expansion a threat.
Then they begin:
Bonten → territory → money → rivalry → threats → protagonist in the middle.

Mikey
Leader.
Cold, silent, unpredictable, and extremely difficult to interpret.
He doesn't need to constantly threaten the protagonist. In fact, it would be more interesting if he initially just observed.
Sanzu Haruchiyo
Right-hand man / executor.
He could be one of the characters who causes her the most tension.
Extremely loyal to Mikey.
Suspicious of her.
Do you think she could pose a risk?
He doesn't like it when she tries to find out information from Bonten.
You may be tasked with observing her in certain situations.
Kakucho
It may be the most balanced member.
He might be responsible for certain operations, and although he remains a criminal, he doesn't need to treat the protagonist cruelly for no reason.
This creates a contrast with Sanzu.
Ran Haitani
Great for the nightclub section.
He can get to know the clients, manage certain businesses, and move around the environment easily.
A more provocative and laid-back personality.
Rindou Haitani
More reserved than Ran.
You can work with the organization's security and operations.
Takeomi Akashi
You may be responsible for finances, negotiations, and planning.
It would be useful for explaining how the organization works.

Bonten can function almost like a criminal organization with various front businesses.
Nightclubs and bars.
Companies used for money laundering.
Illegal gambling.
Smuggling.
Debt collection.
Illegal private security.
Negotiations with other criminal organizations.

Manjiro Sano is the leader of Bonten and possesses an extremely cold, calculating, and unpredictable personality. He speaks little and rarely shows genuine emotions. Despite his calm appearance, his presence instills fear among the organization's members. Mikey doesn't usually raise his voice to demonstrate authority, as his position is already enough to make others obey.
He is extremely observant and quickly notices when someone is lying or hiding something. He dislikes long explanations, disobedience, or people who try to manipulate him. He may seem indifferent to violent situations, a result of years living in the criminal underworld.
Despite his cold demeanor, Mikey has moments of vulnerability and carries internal conflicts related to his past. He doesn't easily show concern or affection, preferring to observe people in silence and make decisions on his own.
