· Voice instead of a doorbell: He never rings the doorbell—he just shouts, "Open up!" across the entire entryway. Friends know: if they can hear it two floors away, it means Mick has arrived.
· Home "soundproofing": His apartment is completely covered in sound-absorbing panels, but he hates them because they "interfere with the acoustics." So he often tears them down and then complains about the neighbors' complaints.
· Cooking to Rock: His playlist is always on full blast in the kitchen, and he sings along while stirring his soup, sometimes accidentally raising his voice at the climax—and then a chair leg flies off.
· Habit of "calling" for things: If a spoon falls or the remote control is lost, he doesn't look around, but pronounces the object's name in a loud, commanding voice, as if the object is bound to respond. Sometimes he even talks to household appliances.

· Sleeping with earplugs: Ironically, he goes to bed in complete silence, using professional earplugs, because his own snoring (which he denies) wakes him up.
· Calls to Mom: He calls his mother every evening, deliberately lowering his voice to a whisper because she asked him not to "yell into the phone." He thinks he's speaking quietly, but his neighbors down the hall can still hear every word.
· Never closes his mouth when chewing: Yes, he chews with his mouth open because it's "delicious" - and that's the only thing even the eternally indifferent Aizawa scolds him for.

· Dual-Blade Voice Quirk: His full-power scream can cause earthquakes and internal bleeding in his opponents, but he can't hear his own voice at full volume (due to the earpiece's protection). Without the speaker on his neck, he risks tearing his vocal cords or destroying everything around him.
· Hypersensitivity to sound: Ironically, Mick hates harsh dissonances. He instantly distinguishes a false note from a true one, so he easily detects students' lies by the tremor in their voice.
· Punctual perfectionist: Despite the outward chaos, he's never late, and his lesson notes are perfectly structured. This contrasts with his "rock 'n' roll" image.
· Part-time radio host: He has his own radio show where he speaks in a calm, pleasant voice (without shouting), and listeners don't believe it's the same person. It's his way of letting off steam from the constant noise in his life.
· Past Trauma: At school, he accidentally injured his friend (not Aizawa) due to losing control of his Quirk - since then, he wears a speaker as a limiter to never hurt his loved ones again.
· Rare Tactical Cunning: In combat, he uses not only loudness but also infrasound (inaudible vibrations) to disorient enemies. This ability goes largely unnoticed.
· He has an alter ego: When not being a hero, he wears regular clothes without spikes, changes his glasses to normal ones, and becomes like a modest English teacher - but his voice still gives away when he calls students by name with a howl.

· Speaking at maximum volume even in silence: He never lowers his voice in everyday life—he shouts in the cafeteria, in the hallway, during lessons. This has become so ingrained that he simply can't control the decibels when he's relaxed.
· Endless interjections and English phrases: He constantly inserts "Yeah!", "All right!", "Hey!", as if he were emceeing a rock concert. This is a habit left over from his radio days.
· Air guitar gestures: When he is excited or happy, his hands automatically play chords on an air guitar and his head starts shaking to the beat (even without music).
· Adjusting Accessories: He keeps touching his directional speaker around his neck (checking if it's on) and automatically adjusts his sunglasses, even if they fit perfectly.
· Obsessive Hair Care: His huge bun requires styling, and Mick often runs his hand through his long locks to make sure they are not mussed.
· Physical advances toward friends: Especially toward Aizawa. He has a habit of hugging him, patting him on the back, or shaking him, ignoring his friend's disapproval.
· Habit of shouting over pauses: He can’t stand silence in a group, so he’s always the first to break the silence, even if he has nothing to say – he starts humming or making sound effects (“Bzzz!”, “Oooh!”).

The only time he suppresses these habits is during major surgeries or when he requests silence for his quirk. Then he becomes unnaturally calm, which frightens those around him.

Loudness and theatricality: He literally screams when he speaks (even in everyday life). He loves dramatic entrances, air guitars, and acts like a rock star on stage, constantly drawing attention to himself.
· Caring "Daddy": Despite his noisy personality, he's a very empathetic teacher. He worries about those who are struggling (like Shinso), encourages the class, and is sensitive to students' emotions. Unlike the strict Aizawa, he uses encouragement and praise.
Ideal Friend (with Aizawa): His best friend is the perpetually sleepy and gloomy Shota Aizawa. They work on a "loud/quiet" principle. Mick constantly teases Aizawa with jokes, but also respects him unconditionally and has his back in battle, and their friendship has lasted since high school.
· Deep Seriousness: When it comes to saving lives or fighting, his humor evaporates. He becomes a brutal and calculating fighter, capable of devastating crowds of enemies with a humorless scream.
· Punctuality and Discipline: As an English teacher, he has no tolerance for tardiness (ironic, given his love of chaos) and takes his status as a professional hero seriously.

In short: he is a loud extrovert with a heart of gold who uses noise to hide his vulnerability, but for friends and students he is always ready to break his voice to protect.

· General Build: He is a tall and slender man with a height of 185 cm.
Hairstyle: His signature look is his long, light-blond hair, which he combs upward into a huge, spiky bun at the back of his head. This hairstyle is sometimes described as resembling a mohawk.
Face: He has rectangular eyes with unusually concentric pupils (like a target). His irises are greenish-yellow (in the anime) or red (in the manga). He also has a small mustache, is almost always seen smiling widely, and is almost never drawn with nostrils.
Clothing and Accessories: He almost always wears orange sunglasses and large headphones with the word "HAGE" written on them. His hero costume is rock-inspired: a black leather jacket with spikes, black pants, and fingerless gloves. He always wears a directional speaker around his neck to control his Quirk.
