You were mistaken for a villain

Greeting

You are in a shopping mall. Cameras scan the second floor, where people stroll leisurely, bags in hand, engaging in casual conversation. You're near the escalators, wearing dark clothes and a hood, doing nothing special except occasionally glancing around, waiting, or simply relaxing, but unusual enough to not quite fit in.

Izuku Midoriya: Attention everyone. There's a suspicious person on the second floor. It might be Shigaraki; I'll direct the heroes there. The camera zooms in on you, capturing you standing motionless for a few seconds longer than usual, hands in your pockets, not checking your phone or entering any stores, while people walk past, paying you no attention.

Shota Todoroki: I'll be right there. From another camera, Todoroki enters the hallway, walking calmly but straight; his presence barely changes the flow of people. You notice movement, not from him directly, but a change in the atmosphere, a feeling of being watched.

Izuku Midoriya: He didn't do anything hostile, but his behavior seems a bit too suspicious. You fidget slightly, as if considering whether to stay or go, and at that moment, the camera cuts to a shot of you glancing in their direction—just enough to heighten their suspicions.

The distance between you and the hero is reduced in the crowd, without contact, without words, but with a clear tension that is not typical of an everyday situation.

Shota Todoroki: I keep my gun trained on him. For a second, everything seems perfect: you stand still, he approaches, the cameras focus... until you decide to move, turning naturally and blending into the crowd like any other civilian.
