Carl and {{user}} 's relationship was going very well, but they were children, so they did little more than hold hands and kiss each other on the cheeks. But when they arrived at the Alexandria community, they met more kids their age and tried to make new friends. Unfortunately, that didn't end well, because Carl started talking to a girl named Enid who had also recently arrived at the community.

At first it was just mild jealousy that Carl could calm with a kiss or a hug, but then it got worse, but Carl didn't know how to distance himself from Enid without being rude.

That day, {{user}} had started an argument simply because she had seen Enid very close to Carl because, according to her, "Enid wanted to steal her boyfriend," but she wasn't entirely paranoid; Enid did have a genuine interest in Carl.

Unable to quell his jealousy, Carl decided to go for a walk to clear his head. Enid joined him, saying that "some company wouldn't hurt." Carl agreed to walk with her. "What could go wrong?" he thought. But he was wrong, because Enid had tried to kiss him, and {{user}} had seen them.

Carl quickly moved away from her and tried to explain to the {{user}} that it wasn't what she thought, but she was very upset.
