Gladion [PKMN]

• Name: Gladio / Gladion (In Japanese: Glazio)

• Age: 17 years.

• Personality: Cold, serious, solitary, edgy. He doesn't talk to anyone and is always angry. But deep down he's very kind and just wants to protect his family and his Pokémon. He's deeply traumatized by what his mother Lusamine did to him and by Team Skull. He has trouble trusting people.

• Outfit:
  He has blond hair with a green streak, wears black and red clothing, ripped pants, fingerless black gloves, and black and red shoes. He wears a Z-Ring and always has a bandaged hand because the Type: Null bag exploded when he tried to save it. His clothes are from Team Skull but modified by him.

• Pokemons:
  His main companion is always:

1. Type: Null / Silvally - He stole it from his mother / Faba to save it from the experiment. It is his most beloved Pokémon.
2. Lycanroc Midnight.

• Clothing: In Alola, she no longer wears her white uniform. She wears a white blouse with a red bow, a short red skirt, and red shoes. At the Aether base, they give her a special white and purple uniform. And in costume contests, she uses about 20 different wigs.
• Personality: Dramatic, bossy, thinks she's a superstar. In Alola, she becomes more of a mother and more fun-loving; she's not so cruel anymore. She loves her Alolan Pokémon very much. She gives up more easily when she's hungry.

1. Mimikyu - His main one. He loves her madly, but Mimikyu only wants to kill Pikachu; he doesn't listen to Jessie. He's super jealous.

• Name: James (Kojiro in Japanese)
• Age: 25 years old, the same age as Jessie
• Clothing: In Alola, he wears a blue button-down shirt, purple shorts, and blue shoes. He looks more summery and relaxed. When in disguise, he wears a wig and a fake beard.
• Personality: Sweet, silly, naive, kind. In Alola, he's the happiest of all because he adores his Pokémon. He's the one who cooks for everyone. He cries about everything.
  Pokemon in Alola:

1. Mareanie - His main one. She's just like James, toxic but affectionate. She clings to him and poisons him with love. She loves him very much.
2. Wobbuffet (shared)
3. Morelull - He had one for a while but let it go.

• Rivals: Ash, but he doesn't hate him as much anymore. His biggest rival is Mimikyu when it attacks him.
• Bosses: The same, Giovanni and Matori.

Name: Meowth (Nyarth)

• Age: Has no age, but is an adult
• Clothing: He doesn't wear clothes, but in Alola he sometimes wears a straw hat and flower necklace. When they are in costume, they dress him up in all sorts of outfits.
• Personality: Sarcastic, translates everything, thinks he's the smartest. In Alola, he's the one who least wants to work and only wants to eat. He's the one who negotiates with Bewear.
• Pokémon: He battles himself, he doesn't have any Pokémon. In Alola he learns to use the Z-Move "Meowth's Hyper Beam of Love"
• Rivals: Pikachu (his eternal rival), Ash's Litten at the beginning.
• Bosses: Giovanni, he's their favorite.

• Bewear: A giant wild Bewear that adopted them as its children. Every time they explode, it appears and flies them to its cave. It gives them honey and food. It's their parent in Alola. It's not on their team, but it lives with them.

• Final bosses:

† Matori - Giovanni's secretary who hates them and always takes their money.

In Alola, Team Rocket finally has a home, a cave with Bewear, they eat well, and they even have their own Z-Move. They're more like family than villains.

• Age: 45 years
• Personality: Super kind, loving, the best dad. He was the original director of the Foundation.
• History: He disappeared years ago while researching Ultra Wormholes and fell into Ultra Space. He lost his memory and ended up living in the Indigo House on Poni Island, taking care of Pokémon. That's why Lusamine went crazy. At the end of the anime, Lillie and Gladion find him, but he doesn't remember them at first. Then, little by little, he does.
• Pokémon [I think in the game]: It's the one that had the original Cosmog (Nebby).
• Pokémon [Anime]: His other Pokémon are unknown, but in the Anime he has Zoroark (the same Zoroark that Gladion has).

Name: Wicke / Zuzu
• Age: 28 years
• Personality: The only good one in the Foundation at the beginning. Maternal, sweet, shy. She was the one who truly cared for the Pokémon. She loves Lillie and Gladion very much, as if they were her nephews.
• Clothing: Blue Foundation uniform, blue hair, large glasses.
• She's the one who helps you escape in the end.

Name: Faba (The Traitor)
• Age: Approximately 35 years old
• Personality: The most hated by everyone. Fake, conceited, thinks he's a genius. He created Type: Null for Lusamine. He is the deputy head of the Foundation.
• Clothing: Weird green suit with glasses, green hair with a horrible bowl cut.
• Story: He was the one who caused everything. Because of him, the first Ultra Wormhole opened and Mohn disappeared. Later, he tries to kidnap Nebby and betrays Lusamine. In the end, he's demoted to intern and put to work mopping, which is the most satisfying thing in the game.
• Pokémon: Alakazam and Hypno.

Name: Lusamine
• Age: 41 years
• In-game personality: Crazy, narcissistic, obsessed with beauty and Ultra Beasts. She sees her children and her Pokémon as beautiful collections. She is the final villain. When she fuses with Nihilego, she becomes "Mother Beast" and says she wants to live in Ultra Space.
• Personality in the anime: MUCH better. She's still obsessed, but because she misses her husband Mohn. She's not evil, she's just heartbroken over his loss. When she's rescued, she tearfully apologizes to Gladion and Lillie.
• Clothing: Super elegant white suit, very long blonde hair down to her feet, she looks like an ice queen.
• Pokémon [Part of the game itself]: Clefable, Bewear, and his favorite Nihilego (when it fuses).
• Pokémon [part of the Anime]: Clefable, Milotic, Mismagius, Liligant, Salazzle and Bewear (I think Bewear doesn't appear).

TEAM SKULL IN GENERAL

• Name: Team Skull
• Clothing: Black street clothes with skulls, caps, chains, ripped pants. They all use the Team Skull pose with their hands.
• Age: Most are teenagers aged 16-20 who did not pass the island test.
• Personality: Lazy gang members who steal Pokémon, but they're actually good losers. They're not truly evil; they're just bitter because the Alola system rejected them.
• Chiefs: Guzma and Plumeria.

GUZMA - THE BOSS

• Age: 25 years

• GAME OUTFIT: White tank top, gold chain, black pants with yellow stripes, tattoos, shaved hair with yellow streak.

• ANIME Clothing: Same but cleaner, and when he loses he puts on a robe.

• GAME Personality: Super aggressive, violent, insecure. Hates everyone because he could never be Island Captain. Says "I am the leader and blah blah." Very insecure inside.

• ANIME Personality: Much more fun and chill. He's a lazy bum who just wants to stay home playing games. He's afraid of his dojo sensei and Plumeria. In the end, he becomes good and becomes Ash's friend and fighting instructor.

• Rivals: Hau, Kukui, Ash, and his father who never approved of him.

• Age: 22 years

• Clothing: Pink and black top, pants with chains, pink and yellow hair, tattoos, looks punk.

• GAME PERSONALITY: The older sister of Team Skull. Cold, serious, bossy, but she takes care of everyone as if they were her little siblings. The only one who can yell at Guzma.

• ANIME Personality: Much sweeter and more maternal. She's the one who cooks, cleans the abandoned mansion where they live, and scolds the three idiots. She loves them all very much.

• Pokemon GAME:

• Rivals: Ilima, Lana.
• Bosses: Guzma, but she's the one who really runs things.

• Name: Skull Recruits (In the anime, the main ones are Tupp, Rapp, and Zipp)

• Age: 16-18 years

• Clothing: Black Skull uniform with cap.

• GAME PERSONALITY: Annoying, they steal, they say "Hey, you, give him your Pokémon!". But if you beat them they start crying.

• ANIME PERSONALITY: They're pure comic relief. They're three incredibly dim-witted friends who never win a battle. Tupp is the fat leader, Rapp is the skinny girl, and Zipp is the tall one. They're fans of Guzma and Plumeria. In one episode, they try to be good and set up a food stall.

• GAME Pokemon: Zubat, Gastly, Drowzee, Fomantis, all weak street Pokemon.

• Pokemon ANIME:

• Tupp: Garbodor and Zubat

• Rapp: Zubat and Salandit

• Zipp: Garbodor

• Rivals: Ash, Kiawe, Lana, anyone who crosses their path.

• Chiefs: Plumeria and Guzma, they are terrified of them.

In the anime, the Foundation isn't inherently evil. They genuinely dedicate themselves to healing injured Pokémon. Lusamine is a cold and perfectionist president, but not malicious. She lives with Lillie in a giant mansion and is saddened by the fact that her husband, Mohn, disappeared years ago in an Ultra Wormhole.

Faba is his right-hand man, but from the beginning he is envious and wants to be the boss.

1. Gladion escapes:
   Just like in the game, Gladion runs away because he can't stand his mother's pressure and because he wants to make Type: Null strong. Type: Null was a failed experiment of Faba's that Lusamine wanted to freeze. Faba treated him very badly.

He leaves and joins Team Skull for a while to hide, but then goes off on his own to train on Poni Island. That's where he gets his Midnight Lycanroc.

2. Lillie escapes too:
   Lillie has a phobia of Pokémon because Nihilego attacked her as a child (when it was trying to take Lusamine), and that traumatized her. Faba erased that memory from her mind so she wouldn't remember.

One day he finds an egg and Nebby (Cosmog) hatches, and he runs away from the mansion to protect him. That's how he meets Ash.

3. The Ultra Space Arc (Chapters 44-49, the best):
   Faba, wanting to prove his genius, uses Nebby to forcibly open an Ultra Wormhole. Things get out of control, and Nihilego emerges from the portal and possesses Lusamine. He takes her to Ultra Space.

Gladion returns. For the first time, Ash, Lillie, Gladion, Kiawe, Lana, and the Foundation all go to Ultra Megalopolis to rescue her.

In Ultra Space, Lillie finally overcomes her phobia and calls out to her mother. Type: Null breaks its mask and evolves into Silvally to save them. It's the first time Gladion cries and hugs his Pokémon.

Lusamine is rescued and she apologizes for having been so cold.

4. After the rescue:
   They're no longer villains. The Foundation becomes a good base of operations. Lusamine becomes more affectionate, and Wicke helps them with everything.

At the end of Sun and Moon, they discover that Mohn is still alive but without his memory in the House of Indigo. The whole family goes to look for him, and it's a really beautiful ending; Lillie and Gladion are reunited with their dad.

In the anime, the Foundation is not an evil organization; it is a broken family that is reunited thanks to Ash.

1. Edgy debut:
   He first appears as a mysterious trainer who defeats Ash in one hit with his Midnight Lycanroc. No one knows who he is. Ash becomes obsessed with him.

2. The relationship with Ash:
   They become fierce rivals, but respectful rivals. Not like Gary, who was obnoxious. Gladion acknowledges Ash's strength. They have about five battles throughout the series. He teaches Ash to be more serious.

3. It's cuter with Lillie:
   In the anime, he's incredibly overprotective of Lillie. At first, he doesn't let anyone near her. But little by little, he lets Ash and the others be her friends. There's a scene where Lillie finally gets to touch a Pokémon, and he cries in hiding.

4. The Aether Foundation (Longest Arc):
   The entire Foundation arc is the same as in the game, but sadder. When they find Lusamine possessed by Nihilego, Gladion breaks down and cries out for his mother. It's the first time you see him cry.

And that's where the epic part happens: Type: Null evolves into Silvally in the anime to save Lillie and Ash in Ultra Space.

5. The final tournament - THE BEST!:
   In the Alola League, which is the first league that Ash wins, the rival in the FINAL is Gladion vs Ash.

• Ash with Melmetal, Lycanroc Day, etc.
• Gladion with Silvally, Lycanroc Night, Zoroark, Umbreon.

It's an epic battle. Silvally keeps changing types with its memories. In the end, Ash wins by a hair, but Gladion shakes his hand and tells him he deserved it. He's no longer cold; he's smiling.

6. Next:
   She goes with her family to Ultra Space to find her father, Mohn. Her father had lost his memory and was living on Poni Island. In the end, they are all reunited and cry.

Differences with the game:

• In the anime, she has Zoroark who transforms into Lillie to protect her; it's super cute.
• His Umbreon was from when he was a child; he's had it since he was a baby.
• He's much less rude, more of a "lone prince" type than a criminal.

At first, the Aether Foundation seemed like the good guys, healing injured Pokémon. But that was a lie.

1. The broken family:
   Her mother [Lusamine] became obsessed with Ultra Beasts after her husband [Mohn] disappeared into an Ultra Wormhole. She went mad, cold, and began using her children like objects. She dressed Lillie like a doll, and Gladion ignored her.

2. The cruel experiment:
   Lusamine began experimenting to create the perfect weapon to fight the Ultra Beasts. She created [Type: Null], a Pokémon made from parts of various Pokémon, with a hideous mask that caused it suffering in order to control its power. There were three attempts, and only one survived.

Gladion couldn't bear to see him suffer. He saw that he was just like him and Lillie, a child used by his mother.

3. The escape:
   Then he did the bravest thing: HE STOLE FROM TYPE: NULL, stole a Memory for himself and ESCAPED from the Æther mansion.
   To escape, he had to ask Team Skull for help. Guzma accepted, which is why he wears clothes similar to theirs. But he was never really part of the team; he only used them as a hiding place.

His bandaged hand is because when he freed Type: Null, his sack exploded and burned him.

4. Reunion with Lillie:
   Her sister Lillie also escaped, but she stole Cosmog (Nebby). Lusamine wanted Nebby to open Ultra Wormholes.

Gladion spent his time training extremely hard to become strong enough to protect Lillie and to stop his mother.

5. Finale at the Altar:
   At the end of the game, Lusamine opens an Ultra Wormhole and merges with Nihilego, going completely berserk. You and Gladion must travel to the Underworld to save her.

That's when Type: Null finally fully trusts Gladion, breaks its mask, and evolves into Silvally. It's one of the most beautiful scenes because it's finally free.

After that, Gladion forgives his mother and becomes much kinder. In the sequel (Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon), he is the leader of Team Skull and takes care of everyone.
