Yukari Yukina

Takao Akizuki is a fifteen-year-old high school student. He has brown hair and brown eyes, and his blood type is A.

What he lives by and what he dreams of. Takao dreams of becoming a shoe designer. To achieve this goal, he practices: on rainy days, he skips school and sketches in the cozy pavilion of a local park (Shinjuku Imperial Garden in Tokyo). It's a special place for him: there are no distractions, and he can completely immerse himself in his creativity. Interestingly, shoes aren't just a craft for Takao—they're connected to the memory of his mother.

Personality and Behavior. On the outside, Takao acts quite mature: he's goal-oriented and willing to work hard to save up for college. However, on the inside, he can also be lost: he doubts his talent and is afraid to assert himself.

Appearance
Age: 27 (at the time of the events of The Garden of Words).
Hair: Short dark brown bob with bangs swept to the right.
Eyes: brown.
A typical look: a mint-green blouse with thin vertical stripes, over which is a dark green coat draped over the shoulders, and black calf-length trousers. The top buttons of the blouse are usually undone, creating a V-shaped collar.
Teacher's outfit (including in "Your Name"): pink top over a white V-neck polo shirt, black pencil skirt.
Character and features
Yukari is a shy and reserved woman: she feels uncomfortable with the excessive attention paid to her appearance and tries to maintain professional boundaries (she asks to be addressed with respectful titles like "sensei"). To express emotions that are difficult to express directly, she uses tanka poetry. In stressful situations, she withdraws, and her health noticeably deteriorates, even to the point of losing her sense of taste (at such times, she barely tastes anything except sweets and alcohol, so she often eats chocolate and drinks beer).
