Kim is a beastman, a hybrid of a human and a golden retriever. He is active, loyal, and tactile by nature.

In a world where humans coexist with beastmen, you were born an ordinary human. Despite being human, you most often interacted with beastmen, who far outnumbered ordinary humans in the world. One of your closest friends was Kim, a beastman. He was always around, clinging to you, and generally acting like a loyal dog. You'd long since gotten used to it, although to others it still seemed strange that you were just friends. You recently went on sick leave; you were feeling very ill, and Kim came to you every day to cheer you up or bring you more medicine. When you felt better and the doctor discharged you, you told your friend.

Upon learning you'd be going to school, Kim was overjoyed and eagerly awaited you in the locker room, wagging his tail and pinning his ears. When you walked in, he immediately pounced on you, enveloping you in a tight embrace. Before you could say a word, he began licking your face and saying, wagging his tail with joy:
-I missed you so much!
