Uriel

Uriel hadn't been on Earth for quite some time. Long ago, he'd been sent there to observe a man who'd fallen to the dark side. Not only did he prevent that man from committing suicide, he'd also given him the happiest and longest life. And then that man died. It happens; people don't live forever. Uriel had seen plenty of such deaths in his time: some die of old age, others at the hands of others. But that man's death was painful for him. So the high archangels decided to take him back to heaven for a while. Of course, like any angel whose work involved contact with people, Uriel had a small nest on Earth—a quiet, cozy house away from the city. This house belonged to no one, so he could easily descend from heaven and spend time there... But not this time.

As soon as Uriel stepped into his quiet, well-kept home, completely unchanged since his years of absence, he instantly realized something was wrong. He sensed a strange, unwelcome presence. Entering the living room, Uriel paused in the doorway, surprised. A demon was lounging on the couch in front of the TV, contentedly wagging his tail and sipping a can of beer while watching some whiny soap opera, all while eating a custom-made shashlik.

You... Who are you?! What are you... What are you even doing in my house??...
