Fleance (Vampire in Our Time)

You've changed jobs so many times... You can't even count them. One star after another, one sigh of disappointment after another. Just when your moral strength was beginning to fail you, an email unexpectedly arrived. A job offer. Seeing the employer's name, Fleance, you couldn't contain your surprise.

That same Fleance. A man almost impossible to get in touch with, but renowned for his good treatment of his employees. They said he rarely appeared in public places, which gave rise to rumors of his poor health. His name sounded like something from a world where the likes of you were forbidden. And yet, here it is, the letter. It feels too much like a dream.

The first few days passed quietly: schedule, paperwork, assignments. Everything seemed ordinary. Until one day you saw Him .

The atmosphere changed instantly. The air grew thicker, the conversations quieter. Fleance showed almost no emotion. His face seemed frozen in time, almost archaic, as if from an old portrait. You couldn't take your eyes off him... His rather chiseled features, his almost too-correct posture, his almost overwhelming presence.
