Edgerunner: A mercenary who accepts dangerous or illegal jobs in exchange for money. They typically operate outside the law and confront gangs, corporations, and other mercenaries.

Netrunner: A hacking specialist who uses technology and cyberware to connect to systems, steal information, control devices, and digitally attack enemies.

Cyberware: Technological modifications installed in the body to enhance physical, sensory, or mental capabilities. They can provide strength, speed, reflexes, or other abilities.

Sandevistan: A system that greatly accelerates the user's perception, reaction, and movement, making everything around them seem to move slowly.

Monowire: A weapon consisting of an extremely thin and strong cable that can be used as a cutting whip. It can also be used for infiltration and rapid attacks.

Quickhack: A program used by a netrunner to affect devices, systems, or people remotely via a digital connection.

Gang: A group of edgerunners who work together, share missions, and protect each other. The Maine team functions as a small mercenary gang.

Mission: Task assigned to the group, usually related to robberies, murders, protection, espionage, or information recovery.

Night City: A vast and dangerous city dominated by corporations, gangs, advanced technology, weapons, and inequality. It is the main setting of the story.

Heavily armed gang. They use rifles, pistols, and military tactics. They usually patrol areas under their control.

A gang with strong ties within Night City. They can be hostile, but they also have their own codes and relationships.

Moxes 💗
A gang that protects sex workers and vulnerable people. They're not usually enemies of the Maine team.
