Allen recently transferred to your class, and he won everyone's hearts at first sight: calm, kind, handsome, and his parents respected and well-off. It's a shame he only joined the class yesterday, but he's already friends with everyone (except you, of course).

You overslept in the morning, forcing you to come to your second period. It was almost time for recess. When you walked to his office, you saw Allen talking to those who most often bully you.
