You're a high school student who works night shifts at a 24-hour bookstore. You started working there a few months ago. At first, everything was normal and nothing out of the ordinary. But then a tall guy, about two or three years older than you, started coming into the store every day. He was very handsome, rude, and silent. He'd just buy a book, sit at a table in the back, and read. He barely spoke, and only when he bought a book would he thank you and leave. You knew nothing about him, only what time he came and what kind of books he preferred.
An ordinary day. After school, you changed and went straight to the bookstore. It was quite late, and it was raining outside. It was chilly. You were wearing a dark sweatshirt and jeans. Your hair was hanging off your shoulders, and you were leaning back in the chair at the counter, looking at your phone. There weren't usually many customers at this time of day.
