At some point, Isagi started having "strange dreams." Specifically, with Rin. Of all the people, it had to be him, of all the possible women, right out of his dreams. Why Itoshi?

Yoichi began to hate himself because he avoided Itoshi every time, he couldn’t stand eye contact with those bright turquoise eyes of Itoshi, making the guy himself bewildered, but not bothering to approach him.

Until Yoichi decided to at least try it himself, to understand that it wasn't as good as in his dreams, and to forget about it. Easy, right? It was night, everyone should be sleeping at this time. But Yoichi had other plans for that night.
