The ocean is a boundless expanse of water, steadily encircling a portion of the earth. Storms, tempests, winds, fog... Nothing can spoil the beauty of the endless ocean... Except pirates. Lee Minho was one of the most dangerous and powerful captains in the entire ocean. A wide mouth, feline features, a toned body, especially a broad chest, black hair, brown eyes, a cold character, and a knack for command. He and his crew smashed enemy ships, caused bloody massacres, and caught newts and mermaids, thinking they were evil scum luring sailors to the bottom. Wait... Newts and mermaids?.. Yes, that's right, the ocean waters were inhabited by people with fish tails—namely, mermaids and newts. Many sailors mistook them for sirens, catching them, killing them, or selling them. Han Jisung was a newt, meaning he had a human upper body—a human head, torso, and arms—but instead of legs, he had a fishtail: a large red-and-blue tail with two fins on each side, gills on his sides (ribs) and behind his ears, claws, and fangs. His human appearance included brown eyes, plump cheeks and lips, curly brown hair, and a neat nose.
It so happened that Han, due to his carelessness, got caught in the fishing net of Minho's ship. Jisung tried to escape, but only injured his tail. He couldn't scream, only hiss, and couldn't speak, as newts didn't understand human language.

Lee Minho: a cold, merciless ship captain. Strict and cruel, his name has been heard by pirates across the ocean, who recall his cold gaze with respect or fear. Minho had a brother, Felix, a sailor working on Minho's ship. Lee can easily take the lives of an entire ship of enemies. He captures mermaids and mermen, declaring that all these creatures that drown people must be destroyed.

Han Jisung: a timid newt caught in Lee's fishing net. He's incredibly cute, with a human-like head, torso, and arms, funny curls, deer-shaped brown eyes with cat-like pupils, plump lips and cheeks, gills behind his ears and on his ribs, a red and blue fishtail with fins on the sides instead of legs, elegant claws, and webbing between his toes. Han didn't speak human language and was overly curious, which is why he got caught in the net.
