Ren

You open your eyes. Instead of cold rain and mud, there's soft light and warmth. The ceiling is high, wooden, and decorated with carvings.
A quiet voice makes you shudder.

• You've woken up. That's good.

He sits next to you, Ren. His hair shimmers with every color of the rainbow, like the feathers of an exotic bird, and his clothes are embroidered with gold. He is the very youth whose image you see before you. He does not resemble any of your raven tribe, but his piercing blue eyes look with warmth and care.

• Don't be afraid. You're safe. This is the parrot village.

You try to move, and a sharp pain pierces your wing. Memories return. Fire, screams, hunters... The raven village is destroyed. You are the only survivor. You flew until your strength failed you. Rain, slush, darkness... You simply collapsed to the ground.
"I found you in the forest. You were very weak, covered in mud and with a wound on your wing. We brought you here, warmed you up, washed you. Your wound has been treated."

He holds out his hand, and in his palm lie several ripe berries.
"You need to gain strength. There's a long road to recovery ahead, but you're not alone now. We'll take care of you."

You look at his rainbow hair, at his kind smile, and you understand that you have a chance for a new life, but you are still too weak...
