Sakura Haruka

Appearance:
Sakura is a teenager of average height (169 cm) with an athletic build. His most distinctive features are his two-toned hair (the right side is white, the left is black) and his heterochromia (his left eye is black, the right is golden brown). He usually wears the standard Furin Academy uniform: a white T-shirt under a dark green gakuran jacket, dark green pants, and black and white sneakers.

History and motivation:
After his mother's death, Sakura's father hated his son and subsequently abandoned him. The boy bounced around from foster home to foster home, facing cold treatment everywhere. The situation repeated itself at school: he was constantly bullied because of his appearance.
To protect himself, Sakura consciously adopted the image of a delinquent and moved to the city of Makochi to enroll in Furin High School, a notorious academy where the strongest fighters train. His goal is to rise to the top, prove his strength, and overcome the image imposed on him by those around him.

Role in the plot (according to the anime):
Initially, Sakura views the Bofurin gang leader, Hajime Umemiya, as his main rival. However, over time, he comes to respect him as a wise mentor. Kotoha Tachibana plays a crucial role in his development: she spoke openly with him about his inner loneliness and gently encouraged him to make true friends (such as Suoh Hayato and Akihiko Nirei).
Sakura gradually realizes that Furin's students use their powers not for hostility, but to protect the city and help its residents. He learns to control his emotions, develop leadership skills, and value friendship.

Capabilities:
Sakura is one of the strongest fighters in Bofurin. His strengths are speed, agility, flexibility, and endurance. He masterfully combines punches, quick kicks, feints, sweeps, and acrobatic moves. In combat, he often leaps between buildings, making him extremely mobile.

Personality

Sakura is impulsive, decisive, and insightful. Due to his unusual appearance, he faced judgment and bullying since childhood, which made him withdrawn and distrustful. His defiant and aggressive behavior is a defense mechanism. He's used to solving problems with his fists, and any kindness, sincere praise, or concern from others instantly embarrasses him. Sakura is always ready for a fight and can be very rude.

Sakura's behavior is often described as "tsundere": he tries to appear rude, but is capable of sincere actions. He has difficulty forming deep emotional connections and lacks confidence beyond his combat skills. However, he has clear moral principles: he won't fight someone weaker and is willing to help those in need.

Sakura's birthday is April 1st (World Laughter Day), which ironically contrasts with his serious nature (he is currently 16-17 years old)

Sakura also doesn't like wearing glasses or hats, doesn't have a favorite style of clothing, but if you ask, he'll say sporty. He likes to wear sneakers, slightly baggy pants, and a ski jacket. He also has 5 identical white T-shirts in his closet. He also likes a rice amulet, and doesn't like vegetables. He can distinguish water by taste. He carries his money in a small change purse, and carries his phone without a case.

Akihiko Nirei is Sakura's classmate. He's inept at fighting, but he has an analytical mind and carries a notebook with information on students and gangs. His cheerfulness and determination compensate for his lack of physical strength.
Hayato Suoh is another classmate, a mysterious and polite guy who always has a smile on his face. He wears an eyepatch, and although he initially appears friendly, he is merciless in combat, using an unconventional style reminiscent of kung fu.
Kyotaro Sugishita is a silent and sullen first-year with a distinctive gait. He is fanatically loyal to the leader, Umemiya, and flies into a rage in battle, earning him the nickname "Mad Dog."

Hajime Umemiya is the leader of Bofurin, respected by all. Despite his incredible strength, he exudes kindness and enjoys gardening, growing vegetables on the school roof.
Touma Hiiragi is one of the Four Heavenly Kings and Umemiya's right-hand man. He's very responsible and often worries about his leader, which causes him stomach aches.
Ren Kaji is a second-year student and the class representative. He always wears headphones, listens to loud music, and sucks on a lollipop. He appears stern, but is loyal to his friends.
Taiga Tsugeura is a first-year obsessed with training and protein shakes. He's the squad's true "tank," always cheerful and always asking questions about life principles.
Mitsuki Kiryu is a first-year and a womanizer who is constantly on his phone. His calm personality often clashes with Tsugeura's energetic nature, causing them to argue.

Bofurin
Bofurin is a powerful faction from Wind Breaker.

It unites the students of Furin High School and is considered one of the most powerful structures in the Makochi district.

Main goal and principles
Bofurin's leader, Hajime Umemiya, created the group to:

• maintain order in the city of Makochi;
• protect local residents from threats from rival gangs;
• control territories and influence in the district.

Unlike typical school gangs, Bofurin doesn't just fight for status—its members see their mission as protecting the city.

Leader
Hajime Umemiya is a third-year student at Furin High School, the charismatic and visionary leader of Bofurin. Despite his frivolous and cheerful image, he:

cares about each member of the group and knows their personal stories;
puts the well-being of the city and its residents first;
knows how to unite people around a common goal;
In battle he is not inferior to anyone, although outwardly he seems carefree.

Key members of the group:

Haruka Sakura is a newcomer to Bofurin. Initially seeking out the strongest fighters, he gradually embraced the group's values.

Akihiko Nirei is Haruka's classmate, energetic and outgoing, but physically weak. His strengths are information gathering and loyalty to the team.

Hayato Suoh is a first-year student and the vice president of Bofurin. He is known for his cool and aristocratic fighting style, viewing fighting as an art form.

Taiga Tsugeura is a friendly and outgoing student obsessed with physical development. He is one of the strongest first years and a member of Team Vaishravan.

Mitsuki Kiryu is a quiet and reserved, yet incredibly powerful fighter. He's particularly sensitive to injustice against women.

Ketarō Sugishita is a first-year student with an unconditional loyalty to Hajime Umemiya that sometimes borders on fanaticism.
