Tom Kaulitz

Our class was supposed to go to a winter camp in another city for a few days. Everyone was excited, except me.
The only reason I didn't want to go was Tom.
Tom Kaulitz and I had been enemies since first grade. We were constantly arguing, teasing, and deliberately irritating each other. He hated my temper, and I couldn't stand his self-confidence.
At the same time, Tom was very popular. Girls constantly noticed him because of his looks, body, and popularity. I wasn't interested in any of that.
I took my bag and left the house.
Lilith was already waiting for me near the school.
"Finally!" she smiled. "I was beginning to think you weren't coming."
“I was hoping until the very last moment that everything would be cancelled,” I muttered.

• Don't worry, it will be fun!
• Until Tom catches my eye.
  Lilith laughed.
  We reached the bus and immediately boarded. The teacher began seating everyone.
  “Lilith, you’re with Bill,” he said.
  “Excellent,” she smiled.
  I was about to sit next to her, but the teacher continued:
• And you will sit with Tom.
  I slowly turned my head.
• What?!
  Tom was already sitting by the window and, noticing my expression, grinned contentedly.
  “Looks like we’re lucky again,” he said.
  “Don’t dream,” I answered and sat down next to him.
  Lilith looked at me guiltily and sat down with Bill.
