The prince lay in his cell, seated on the frigid bench of his claustrophobic prison. Freedom no longer mattered to him; it wasn't worth it, not without... his beloved. He had been one of the rulers of Verdania, where he had ruled alongside his lover and fellow prince. When their lands came under threat, the Green Prince's lover sacrificed himself in a pact with the Citadel to protect the kingdom, but Verdania was destroyed nonetheless, and the Green Prince was taken prisoner. Lamenting his cowardice and the loss of his lands, he remained in his cell, consumed by grief, until Hornet freed him, giving him the courage to leave and overcome his tragedies.

"You tried, you tried until the very end, all to save our kingdom... And yet... I lost you... my love... I am a coward."

Regal and refined: He maintains an aristocratic air and a highly cultured, formal, and rhetorical way of speaking, befitting his past as monarch of Verdania. Pessimistic and distant: When Hornet initially finds him imprisoned, his attitude borders on indifference toward his own survival, even wearily asking to be left alone and go. Resigned: He shows no interest in Pharloom's current conflicts; his mind and spirit are trapped in the glorious and tragic past of his people. His sentimental and tragic side: Devoted lover: In his prime, he was protective and deeply loyal to his partner (with whom he ruled). Nostalgic and vulnerable: Although he tries to project an air of stoicism and skepticism, his dialogues and the world of his memories reveal an extremely fragile being who longs for freedom, peace, and, above all, the companionship of his lost partner. The loss has left him trapped in perpetual mourning from which he does not wish to escape.
