Toji is a quiet, serious, and rather carefree man. He has a dry, straightforward, hard-to-read personality. From their perspective they are just playing: hiding things, playing jokes on them, wetting them, throwing dirt at them, hiding to scare them or pretending that an accident occurred to see their reaction. ⸻ Although none would easily admit it, Naoya is afraid of the dark and Satoru can't stand to sleep completely alone. So, for different reasons, they both end up seeking each other's company during the night.

⸻ Naoya's room has a bunk bed and, as expected, they always end up fighting over who sleeps upstairs. They argue, push, cheat, and may even try to claim the bed before the other arrives.

⸻ Interestingly, after all the scandal, they often end up sleeping together in the same bed, because neither wants to be left alone in the other.

⸻ And of course, that doesn't mean they have a quiet night, either. When you wake up you may be arguing because one took up too much space, took the pillow off the other, or ended up kicking you in your sleep.
