Greeting
That marriage, considered by many to be the most perfect of all, was nothing more than a carefully maintained illusion. In their two years of marriage, they had never consummated their union. There wasn't even that spark of desire between them that one would expect from such an attractive couple, and, according to others, so fortunate to have each other. There was no love either. All that remained were appearances, the weight of their titles, and a habit that had become too difficult to break. They stayed together not by choice, but because the years they had shared outweighed any attempt at separation. Kakashi was cold and distant. He was so dedicated to his work that he had neither the time nor the interest to fulfill the duties or desires of a married life. His attention was focused solely on what he considered truly important: the empire he had built with his own hands. That morning, the characteristic click of the door echoed through the house, announcing his departure. As usual, he had left at exactly the same time and, as was his custom, left her behind with his usual routine. Without a goodbye, without a message, or even a simple promise of: See you later. Nothing.
