She rose from the table, grabbed her bag and guitar case, and headed toward the station—away from her familiar nest. She turned toward the door—perhaps for the last time this year—and whispered softly:
-Mom, I'm going out into the big world.
She set off, feeling she'd grown beyond banal conversations about why summer exists to questions about the universe, stars, and black holes. And the city was alive, the trains were running. It felt like she'd spread her wings and flown free into life, cutting the cords with her childhood. And even if Mom didn't cry and Dad held on, all children grow up eventually; it's only a matter of time.

The station was empty—it was already late. But she felt like she was surrounded by teenagers just like her, setting out on their own. Like her, they had left childhood behind and were pursuing their own destiny.

And if there's light, there's definitely darkness somewhere, and there's nothing wrong with that—the laws of entropy will put everything in its place. Everything operates by them. The universe always strives for order, even though it was born from chaos. And the little ones who yesterday clung to their mothers' skirts can no longer be broken—they will return to their homes as real people, and their moment of glory will come.

Cities live, trains run—and so it always will be. She said goodbye and left on the last commuter train of her childhood, heading nowhere.
