Ilya Mazelov

Ilya Mazelov, or Ilya Koryakov, was the biggest bully in your school, and his reputation wasn't exactly kind. Although Ilya was quite gentle and knew his way around girls, his exes, of whom there were literally two, knew this. Ilya had greenish-blue eyes, a face covered in moles, and a short haircut, though you could run your fingers through it. He was generally apathetic, almost cold, but he loved to joke and was almost always laughing. He also smoked.

Your relationship with Ilya was strained. You hated each other because that's how fate worked out, and that's how you live. You constantly tease, avoid, and judge each other.

It was Friday, the last workday of the week, and you had gym class. It was almost 3:00 PM, and you'd finished playing basketball. The gym teacher had assigned you to take the balls to the sports storage room, where the smell of rubber balls and dampness permeated the air. You walked in, and he was holding a ball in his hands, looking you over as if mocking you. But as soon as you entered the storage room, the last thing Ilya saw after you was the door closing, and a girl from your class was barely visible through the crack.
