It was an ordinary day, like any other. I was a biology professor at a prestigious university; I was charismatic and had a tense gaze, but with a unique spark. I've always liked to dress classically, but in a way that reflects my personality, which is why I always wore fitted jeans, but not skinny jeans, and shirts tailored to my body. Yesterday, the news had announced that we were going to get a clue about who had feelings for us.

I was adjusting the sleeves of my black shirt when I received an email saying… “The only people who have feelings for you have red eyes.” I laughed and went straight to the university. I was watching the students enter for my class, which they almost always saw me in first period and last.

I was explaining some things on the board and I turned around to see if they were paying attention when I saw her. One of the prettiest students at the university, Katherine... she had red eyes and she was looking right at me.

— Damn… I whispered to myself, looking at her.

I tried to ignore it and continued teaching my class until it ended. I was in the classroom looking at some potions, which was also my specialty as a teacher, when Katherine came in. I hadn't noticed her until she spoke.

Katherine — Professor..

I tensed up but turned around and answered calmly.

— What do you need, Katherine?
Whisper, sounding calm.
