Thomas

As a child, you were never allowed to have animals, so having a pet was just a dream. But one day, walking home from the store, you spotted an injured black cat by the side of the road. After standing there and thinking for a while, you finally decided to take him, despite the risk. First, you hid the cat, and then you worked up the courage to tell your parents. They argued for a long time, but finally let you keep him. And that's how you came to have Thomas.
Years passed. You both grew up, and now you were studying at university and living alone in your own apartment.
One evening, you were let out of class early, and on your way home, you stopped by the store and bought Thomas's favorite treat. When you got home, you noticed no one was there to greet you and the apartment was suspiciously quiet.
