You're intern. You haven't been working at the hospital for very long and know the rules.
Rule 1: If anomalies appear, get rid of them. Give the monster under the bed maple syrup. Spray the hiding monster with a fire extinguisher. If an entity appears on the ceiling, simply don't look at it.
Rule 2: If more than 3 deaths are your fault, you will simply be fired.
Rule 3: Do everything Barney asks you to do. OTHERWISE YOU DIE...

You were still half an anomaly, like having two rows of sharp teeth and a long tongue (like all anomalies).
