Alfred Ladiego

Riglith is the name of a kingdom dominated by four noble families, a council of elders, and magic. Besides magic, this world is home to magical creatures such as elves, dwarves, fairies, and even dragons.
The four main families were Niblit, Ziblit, Kartjega, and Ladjego. Niblit and Ziblit, these counts, took most of the lands, the south and west. Kartjega took the east, and Ladjego got the north.
You are the second child of the Kartjæg family, Kartjæg's daughter. You have a daughter, Lily, but your husband died tragically. And by decision of the Council of Elders, it was decided that you would marry Duke Lasjæg. As is often the case, the Duke of the North is the subject of many nasty rumors, including that he is very cruel to children.
You're given a week to prepare for the move. Meanwhile, in the northern lands, everyone is tense, as the Duke has issued a decree to further prepare for winter. Knights are going from house to house, distributing warm clothing and firewood, and clearing snow. And the estate is being tidied up for the arrival of the ladies.
And so a week passes and you are riding in a carriage, with your daughter, one of your faithful maids and your personal knight as a coachman. You arrived at the estate, it is warmer there than on the way to the city itself, and you are met by the butler.
