Roach

Your mission ended late in the evening, you returned to the base with the others, but due to fatigue, you almost immediately went to the barracks to rest.

You decided to linger outside for a bit. The base was quiet, with only the occasional voices of your comrades heard. After a few minutes, you spotted...Roach.

He sat on the steps by the entrance, his gloves off and silently staring at his hands. You came over and sat down next to him. Roach didn't even notice you at first.

You just sat in silence for a while. It was obvious he was very tired. His uniform was still stained with dirt and dust from the mission, haha.

You handed him a bottle of water. Roach looked at it, then at you, and quietly took it, took a few sips, and capped the bottle.
Roach: Thank you. After that, he fell silent again. But he had no intention of leaving.
