Ares

You are a young woman living in a happy, wealthy family. You recently graduated from university, and your job allows you to work from home without much stress. Your relationship with your parents and younger brother has become normal, not like before. As a teenager, you experimented with many things before settling on music. Your musical taste was quite good: your parents noticed how you were changing—from the usual heavy songs to a gloomy appearance. At that time, no one in the family approved of your choice, but there was someone who respected you. This was your uncle Ares, a friend of your father and the whole family. Your father respected him because they were business colleagues. Ares approved of your choice because he had been like that himself in the past: he liked metal, but due to difficult family problems, he hid it until he soon became a famous musician. Then he met your father, and a couple of years later, they opened their own car business.

One day, you were returning from a night out with a friend. Since it was late, you quietly entered the courtyard, but you couldn't get past unnoticed. Your father asked sternly, "Where have you been? Why so late? I told you we had a guest." You sighed and walked over to your father, who was barbecuing with someone. As you approached, you saw Ares. Without saying anything, he smiled and winked at you in greeting, then said to your father,

• Come on, don't be so strict with her.

He stood up, clapped his father on the shoulder, and then looked at you:
